Super heavy-duty chain and padlock. One would need to be a serious bad person to attempt to remove this. Most Pleased.

After many strange nights of waking up in the middle of the woods with no clothes and no recollection of how I had gotten there, I decided to take drastic action and lock myself to the fence in my shed of a night time and ever since then I’ve woken up at home every night and the news articles of all the local missing sheep have stopped appearing in the tabloids which is a strange coincidence.I rate this lock 10 out of 10 because not even I can get out of it when I sleepwalk????It’s a little uncomfortable but it’s secure and built to last and to keep whatever you lock up safe and that’s what I needed good old strength and security.Now if only it could stop me howling at the moon but a girl can dream

Secures field gate and great not to have to use a key!

Very disappointed that one of the heavy duty combination locks has jammed and is unusable after only 2 months. It will now neither open or lock. These locks were expensive and I am very disappointed that it is now unusable after such a short time 👎👎👎

Good sturdy robust lock which is easy to operate and has a nice positive action on the combination. The chain is nice and thick and this should stop the vandalism of locks on our field gate.

I can never have too many locks for my bike. When leaving it locked up for any long periods of time I like to have a lock that makes it as difficult as possible for someone to cut through it. Because of the weight of this chain I probably won’t be carrying it round with me as I don’t leave it anywhere exposed. The chain is hardened steel 8mm thick with a 6/10 rating and 10 year guarantee. It’s designed for leisure bikes and combined with the included lock has a 7/10 rating.The padlock has a rotating barrel with 4 digits and can be recoded by unscrewing a small screw on top which lets me push the button at the bottom in further to change the code. It has a plastic coating and 8mm steel loop with a rubber coating. The lock itself is quite light compared to the chain but feels premium. It’s easy to select specific codes and open the lock with cold and wet fingers. The number are also large to see.The sleeve has been stitched to stop it coming off and just leaves half a link so I don’t worry about it scratching the bike as it has a soft seat belt like finish. The chain isn’t stainless steel so it might start rusting out in wet conditions.Overall I’m very pleased with this and feel safer knowing it’s on the bike. I’m sure with enough time someone would get through it but for me 8mm steel offers great protection.Hopefully my review has been helpful.
