Original Penguin Men's Two Piece Slim Fit Suit

When you order this suit in 44S the pants are default at 37waist. That being said, when I tried them on, they fit more like a 35 waist, which is more in line with my 34/35 waistline. I had the suit pants hemmed to 28-3/4” inseam for a modern look but also altered the pant legs to allow more taper. The suit coat fits “EXCELLENT” especially at the sleeve-cuffs and at the top button closure. I’m normally a 42S or 42R in a standard fit. I’m very pleased with the suits material. The color is a dark navy blue with very light line patterns nor are they prominently overbearing like a pinstriped suit; VERY subtle!!!! I’m not a pinstripe suit type of guy! But I love the material and subtle pattern. I’m 205lbs 5’8”, I hope this will help someone figure out what to expect when purchasing these Original Penguin suits. The first picture I uploaded was right out of the box with no alterations. The second picture was after the pants were altered. If you notice I had them altered for a slim taper look.

This is a great suit for the price I got it for and I have gotten several compliments on it. It is a very nice light material. The pants come unfinished so it will need to be tailored. I have to get all of my suits tailored anyway so this wasn’t a big deal. The waist is slightly smaller than I expected but it is a slim fit suit. I ordered a 42s so following the guidelines the pants should have been 35”. I usually wear 32” or 33” pants but I did not need to alter the waist of there pants at all. One wish I have for the pants is a full length lining. The lining only goes to just below the knees. The jacket fit really well and only needed minimal alterations to shorten the sleeve length a slight bit.

Fits and feels well specially for the price.

Needed a suit for a company awards dinner and didnt want to spend more than $150 ....this suit came in way under what my budget was and had a great fit. The material is thin as is to be expected at this price but for about $60 .... it was a great find.

i always liked original penguin clothes - typically buying button down shirts, long sleeve shirts, jeans and shorts. i saw this suit come on sale when i was in need of a lighter colored suit for a wedding in New Orleans. after ordering and having a tailor hem the pants and slightly adjust the sleeve length on the jacket, it fit great (5"11', 155lbs and 38 reg size). i will definitely keep me eyes out on amazon for another one when they get down under 200$.

Biggest problem off the bat is that you select jacket size and pray the pants will fit. I got a 44 long and it came with size 37 pants, which is close enough that I'm not upset. Other than that it's considerably cheaper than I found at Nordstrom and it's a good beginner suit. For the price I expect it to last about a year.

I had purchased the same style suit at a brick and mortter store and loved it. I came to AMZ looking for the same suit, but different color and pattern, this is it. Unfortunately the quality of the fabric is inferior and that changed the way it fits on me.

Looks good, people complimented it.Will have to hem the pants as am on shorter end of the male spectrum

Anuncio engañoso, su política de devolución indica que se me hará el rembolso total el cual cobran gastos de importación que engrosan el pedido. Mismos que cuando uno hace la devolución (misma que indican que se hará total), omiten que esos gastos famosos de importación los tiene que absorber el cliente. Les preguntas donde indican eso en sus políticas que tienen por todo el sitio y se escudan en decirte que son cosas internas. Ni Jose B (supervisor) me supo decir, cuando le cuestione donde estaban, prefirió colgar mi llamada.Tengan cuidado en comprar ropa y rueguen por que les quede. De lo contrario pagaran por medirse algo y decepcionarse de que no les queda. Por que el costo de eso se llama "importación". Suerte en sus compras.BTW primera vez que me hace esto Amazon.

Impresionante lo bien que me quedo, llegó perfecto, la calidad de la tela es muy buena, spandex, el color es hermoso, muy recomedable
