Update: as of 8-7-17The company sent me a new screw that works perfectly with the attachment and now I am having no trouble with the grip portion falling off. It is a very useful product and I would buy again. So impressed with the customer service, both with how quickly they got back to me to make it right and with the product working now.Update: as of 7-26-17The replacement/longer arm mount arrived very quickly. Again, I am very impressed with the promptness and response to send a replacement. However, I am sad to say that this one has the exact same issue. The suction cup part of the products works very well and stays secure. The screw on attachment, gets loose quickly and just pops right off of the ball joint. Making it unusable. I hope it does get fixed in production, because I would love one and get many as gifts to give to friends.Update: as of 7-18-17The seller contacted me right away to say that they were sorry for the problems I was having. They say that they are aware of my specific problem and it is being fixed. They are sending me a new one. I'll update again once I receive it. So far, I am very impressed with the customer service. This may get to 5 stars soon!Works great...EXCEPT. I really want to give this 5 stars for the following reasons- holds my Galaxy s7 perfectly without any unwanted pushing of buttons as some have described- allows me to keep my device at the left most position of my windshield for easy viewing without blocking anything necessary- suction seems to be holding to the window really well- LOVE the flexible neckThe one problem and reason for 3 stars- when I go to squeeze the clamp to attach my phone, more than 50% of the time, the entire clamp part comes off of the base and I have to work it to get it back on. It appears to be that the little threaded piece that you screw on is just a little bit too big so that it just slides right off of the ball with almost no pull. Not sure if perhaps I should have ordered one with a longer goose-neck so that there is no pull there or the screw part should be a little smaller so that it cannot get over the ball portion.

Hi y'all, I've just had this clip for a few days, but I already love it. I have mine attached to the windshield and it is not going anywhere. I was in a rental car for a bit (long story) so I had to move it back to mine. And it was easy to move (just use the little tab to get the sticky suction cub to unstick) and now it's once again solidly attached to my windshield.However, if I could I would give it 4,5 stars... For 2 reasons: One, as others have noted, I agree that this should not be attached to the dash. I think the combo of the sticky material and most textured dashes will not work. But for the windshield 100% recommend... Nada for the dash. The other reason is the clip... I have mixed feelings. I love how solidly it holds my iPhone, but I wish I could get my phone in and out of it with one hand. I can't. The clamp is just too powerful to pry open with just the phome in hand. This may end up being a good thing, as I shouldn't be messing with it anyway, BUT... Well, I want what I want.Meanwhile, I'm on a tight budget... And the price was AWESOME! The quality is superb. I love how solid it feels. And I love the flexible, yet somehow solid gooseneck. It stays exactly where you put it. I'm able to position my phone where I can easily see the navigation, but it in no way obstructs the windshield. LOVE IT!In short, great price, great quality and great function when attached to the windshield!

This mount has certainly surprised me in two important ways. First, it surprised me in a positive way by both being extremely affordable and long enough to make using the GPS navigation features easily accessible on my phone. The bendable arm is extremely solid and is actually more solidly constructed than the listing's pictures give credit. The second surprise was unfortunately a negative. I'm not sure if it's the length of the mount or the suction cup but a heavier phone like my Note 5 wobbles when you go over bumps. It is not a huge unbearable wobble and I personally am not bothered at all by it but I can see where it would be a deciding factor for some people's purchases.Overall, the mount is extremely well build and the clasp is awesome! It holds my Samsung Note 5 with plenty of room to spare for even a larger phone. The length of the arm can literally be a life saver for anyone who relies on their phones for GPS navigation and the way you can bend the arm allows you to move the suction cup completely out of your viewing range. The suction cup is sticky so it does not feel like it would ever accidentally come off, but I have been able to easily remove it when I actually want to. This is a great product with just the one small draw back.
