Saint-Gobain 512AF Strip-N-Stick Silicone Gasket Tape, 30' Length, 1/2" Width, 1/16" Thick (Pack of 1)

used this around the air door of an Endurance 50F pellet furnace. It gets up to 150-200F and has some air pressure pushing against it. The original material eventually pushed its way out past the edges of the door because the adhesive got soft and allowed it to move. This stuff has lasted one season without any problem, and will hopefully continue!

I needed a gasket material that was impervious to solvents, and this did the trick just fine. Shipped quickly, and the price was ok ...

I'm fairly sure this will function well in the application I have, but I was expecting to get the gray color, not brown. Yes, the color matters in the application I have, and yes I know the picture says it's a representation of the "family". Would stating the color be too much to ask?Since the listing didn't state a color, I'll let it go, and not return it.

This is a single-sided adhesive tape. I had thought it was double-sided.

Of the family of Strip-N-Stick silicone foam adhesive-backed gasket tapes, the 512AF is the lowest density (mosty easily compressed) and the only offered in the color "Gray". This has been a great product for use as an air seal for exhibition display cases that require an archival environment for the object or art being displayed.
