Nicapa Heat Press Mat for Easypress(12x12 inch) Cricket Craft Vinyl Ironing Insulation Transfer Heating Mats for Easypress 2

Someone recommended this (actually a similar, more expensive one) repeatedly in a sewing video and my 1st thought was that she was plugging it for a commission. I looked into it and decided on this product, and I can't agree more on it's usefulness. Unless the project is large, this is so handy right beside me with a small iron (also available on Amazon) that heats up very quickly. I keep a ceramic coaster handy for the iron to rest on. When not in use I simply stand it up on the shelf right above my work table. On big improvement I made was to glue (I used hot glue) a similar sized square of "rubber" non-skid shelf liner to the underside to prevent the mat/pad from sliding around, which it will do otherwise.

I got an Easypress, and continued to use ironing board instead of a heat-press mat. WHAT A DIFFERENCE the mat made for my HTV.I was worried about Nicapa brand; I was in the habit of getting their cutting mats for my Silhouette and the quality varied purchase to purchase.The heat-press mat I received is a winner. The surface is even and free of puckers, and the edges are well bound. It takes the heat without a chemical/burn smell, and the undersurface after is not even hot. Was able to multiple HTV bags in a row without fail.Would recommend highly, especially at this price and this seller.

I got a heat press for Christmas, and did a few projects using a towel under it. It took forever. Then I decided to buy this mat. I just figured it'd be easier than trying to get a towel into a t shirt without it bunching up. I had no idea how much faster, easier and over all easier it would be with this mat. The HTV sticks very fast and with little effort and it stays on better. If you have a heat press, don't wait. Do yourself a favor and. Buy this mat.

This thing is absolutely FABULOUS!! I have no idea how I made t shirts without it. It drastically speeds up the bonding process and works fantastically with my Cricut EasyPress. I tried so many things to make my HTV stick better - and ironing board, a literal piece of tin foil, silicone, and in a moment of desperation burned a shirt by holding the easypress on there for 5 minutes. This small, simple, yet WONDROUS device has prevented my creative soul from being crushed. I cannot recommend this enough!!

I received a Cricut Easy Press as a gift and learned quickly that having a heat press mat makes a BIG difference when working with Heat Transfer Vinyl. This mat protects my work surface and creates a heat/pressure barrier that makes the vinyl adhere faster and stronger than without. I'm honestly surprised that Cricut does not include their own version of this product with the easy press, as I found it very difficult to use without it.

Purchased to use as a pressing mat for sewing and quilting classes. I wanted something that was portable, heat/moisture resistant, and thicker than travel ironing mats. This works great. It is a good size (12 x12 inches) that is large enough for pressing quilt blocks, but small enough to take along to class. I also use this with my wool pressing mat. The top and bottom are clearly marked.

I was so excited to get my cricut easy press and then immediately sad to realize I really needed a pressing mat to use with it. The cricut version of this mat is super expensive when you consider the fact you've already shelled out like $100 or more for the easy press, and now you need an additional product to make it work properly. I was so excited I found this mat, and it works great!

Just got a cricut easy press for Christmas. Since I was new to this craft I was shelling out a lot of money on basic supplies and did not want to drop another $50 for the cricut pressing mat. This seems to work like a charm and definitely better than pressing things on a towel or flimsy ironing board.

Great size for placing inside a t-shirt to use Easy Press for Cricut. Was a little worried perhaps too cushion but that does not seem to be a problem so far

Works great. I just use a regular iron on to transfer to iron imagines to the item I am using.

I wish this was a little bit bigger 13x13 would have been perfect

Well made and so much easier than dragging out the ironing board . If you have an Easy Press you will appreciate this mat.

Like my other nicapa review, it's not Cricut, but the build quality vs dollar value is way better. It's an equal quality to Cricut, but at half the price.
