I vaguely remember reading a review about how this is cheap & breaks easily. I have no clue what they're talking about.I purchased this a week or two into COVID, because my son finally admitted he won't sleep in his bed as he's afraid of the dark. So I love this; ok more correctly, my son loves it. But he's a 5 y/o Black boy looking at a Black superhero, what's not to like? He video calls friends, ask what color they want & cycles through it. I tuck him in & ask what color he wants & selects it or insists he can set it himself- the way is room is set up, that requires he gets out of bed & I wonder why I bother to tuck him in. But hey HE LOVES HIS BLACK PANTHER NIGHT LIGHT & I love my sleep.There is a remote & yes its finicky. Apparently you need to aim it at a specific spot on the base for it to work. But I don't bother. It's his night light. Yes, I could get up & turn it off at night using the remote to not actually enter his room, but its a LED light, so could last like 20 years. This isn't meant to be a family heirloom (its ok if it is, but I really just want him in his own bed). And yes, it would be nice to instantly set the color & go about my night, but honestly the extra 3 seconds justs lets me fuss about the cleanliness of his room... Besides if we're being honest we'd probably loose the remote numerous times before I'd breakdown, attach velcro to it & the dresser, but even then it would probably go missing...There's also a really small Black Panther shaped light that attaches to something (I'm guessing a computer) via a USB port. But we haven't used that yet. No special reason, I've set it aside a a reward.So on to why I love this 1) I get him out of my bed 2) he loves it 3) it works. 4) it's like buying one thing & getting another free 5) he loves it (I know I already mentioned it, but its worth mentioning again) 6) his superhero keeps the monstrous villians away, so we can sleep. That's enough.

My 4 year old son loves this for his room! He uses it as a night light. I keep batteries in it instead of plugging it into the wall. I literally have to change the batteries every 3 days or it just flickers & won’t change colors. It came with a little black panther that plugs into the wall as well so that’s a bonus!

I bought this for my nephews birthday but will be returning it. It was no what I expected it to be. It's literally a flat piece of plastic in the shape of the black panther that sits in the base. I for some reason thought it was 3D. I guess you get what you pay for. I guess I should have the description better.

My nephew is obsessed with Black Panther & LOVES this night light. Very good quality & glows better than I expected.

Got this for my nephew for Christmas and he loved it! I helped set it up and it was easy, it looks very nice and had different colors to choose from. made me want to buy one for myself with a different design. Good buy!

I bought this for my grandson for his birthday. He loved it. It's a great night light for the room.

It absolutely cool and beautiful. My son loves it! I will buy more lamps of these kind to give as gifts.

This is nice. I love the color changes but even with batteries it still needs to be plugged in.
