KRAVE Beef Jerky, Garlic Chili Pepper , 3.25 Ounce

I'm a fan of beef jerky and really wanted to try some flavors outside the range you find at a garden variety grocery store. I think I should've made a more adventurous choice, because this was simply a moderately peppered beef jerky. I was expecting a more obvious garlic flavor along with the spice, so I was disappointed not to be able to distinguish it. It was a little on the drier side in my opinion, though one reviewer found it to be too moist. I've only had this once, so I'm not sure if they or I got an off/unique bag, if this company's product is inconsistent, or if myself and the other reviewer simply have different definitions of what "moist" beef jerky is. I gave it three stars because it's not a BAD peppered beef jerky; it just didn't live up to my expectations or the price tag.Overall, I wouldn't recommend buying this particular flavor at all if you're looking for something unique. I won't be trying this brand again unless I can find it being sold for $5 or less.

All Krave jerky products are the highest quality jerky you can find without question. And every flavor I've ever tasted has been a tremendous gift to my taste buds... except for this one.Obviously taste is completely objective, so I expect there are tons of people who enjoy it, but to me the spiciness is overly strong and the flavor does not compensate enough for it (or is unable to).In short, if you like very spicy beef jerky, you'll probably like this. Four stars because Krave makes such top-notch products, but -1 for the many people like me who won't enjoy this flavor.

I still like the tenderness of Krave jerky, but not a big fan of this flavor. I don't taste garlic chili so much as sweet with a bit of spice.

Horrible. I buy this from Target frequently, however they were out of stock so I bought from Amazon instead. The jerky I received was in much smaller pieces than usual and had no flavor, it was almost like they didn't season it at all. In the photo, you can see how the jerky has a lot of chili flakes on it, usually it looks just like that, the bag I received had maybe two chili flakes total and many small, dry pieces compared to the usual moist large pieces.Maybe they made a production change, maybe Amazon sources this from someone different than Target, I'm not sure, but I definitely wouldn't reorder because of this bad batch.

The beef jerky has a good taste but I prefer dryer beef jerky. This is very moist and I just don't like that. I probably won't order again.

This is excellent top shelf jerky, moist, flavorful, tender. This variety is quite spicy, although you can knock off some of the hot pepper seeds if you like. It's slightly sweet also. I see the price went up since I bought it, it's a small package, I wouldn't pay over $5 for this size.

I bought this on a whim and enjoyed it. It is a very soft jerky but comes out of the bag in essentially two giant sheets which made it a little awkward to eat without ripping/cutting it up. It had a great flavor, it had a little kick but wasn't super spicy. I'd be interested to try their other flavors.
