After Lots of Use Still Like New - Update Started Leaking in 7 Months
After using constantly filled with hot (almost boiling) water for roughly a month, the bottle is holding up beautiful. If you did not know it had been used, you would think it was just unpacked. By this time, with the water temperature and constant use, the rubber bottles would be feeling thin and flimsy. not still brand new like these are.I also really like that you can see how much water you have put in the bottle. No more guessing. And the wide mouth has let me have ZERO splashbacks/splashouts from the bottle as I was filling it. Great not to be scalding my hands from air bubbles in the small mouth bottles.Trust German builds!+~+~+~++~+~+~+~+~= UPDATE MARCH 27, 2015 +~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~While this is a cool looking bottle, and it feels sturdy... It started leaking where the neck joins the body. There were no sharp objects ever near the bottle. It seems that whatever fastened the neck to the body of the hot water bottle started coming unglued? Now the bottle leaks.I was trying to find warranty info and was unable to find it.

excellent buy
I bought this hot water bottle two months ago in October and have been using it every single day. It is what I have expected. Originally, I was thinking it may be able to be filled directly in the bathroom sink using the hot tap water, but actually it will not fit, since the bottle is too long to be fully extended for the water to go in correctly. Also the temperature of the hot tap water is not warm/hot enough to penetrate the thick bottle rubber.I usually boil 1 L water using my electric kettle and add about 0.3-0.5 L cold water to it before filling the bottle to 3/4, then fold the top part slightly to release the air and cap the bottle. I never tried to directly add boiling water to it, so I don't know how the bottle perform under that circumstance. The water will stay hot/warm until morning under the comforter, and the warmness of this bottle really help me to fall asleep faster! Can't live without my bottle in cold winter days!

Fashy Hot Water Bottles failed after 2 months
I gave it two stars because in the beginning the bottles smelled great and stayed warmer longer. Then after both that I bought within 2 months of purchased sprung a leak, I realized that I had to return them. It was a hassle because the reps were outsourced and I had a hard time communicating. One rep told me to call the German company Fashy long distance to ask for a refund. There was a 5 year warranty, but Amazon wouldn't do a refund? I called and spoke to another rep who said I had been give the wrong info from the first rep. So finally, I was given a refund, if I returned the products. I did and was refunded all but the stocking fee. So as with all Amazon products, you still pay. So buying cheaper, can cost you more money if you get the wrong item. I am sad that so many local businesses are being put out of business, because we all want cheaper and cheaper stuff. Ready to quit Amazon for good if they keep pushing the envelope by undercutting publishers, and charging restocking fees. etc. What is the best bottom line we can shoot for that serves us all?

Great large water bottle, no issues
This water bottle is helping me sleep better at night in the winter. I always struggled to fall asleep with cold feet, sometimes it would take up to an hour for my feet to warm up in bed before I would properly nod off. I wish I had known the hot water bottle trick earlier in life. Now I'm asleep within 10mins and the bottle is still warm in the morning!I opted for the red one over the clear, because a lot of people mentioned yellowing of the clear one over time. This one is perfect. I can see how much water is in it without issue. I'm adding half boiling hot water (be careful pouring it in) and half lukewarm tap water to it. If you add entirely boiling water it will get really hot, to the point of being uncomfortable to touch, especially on the smooth side which isn't as thick.

Where does the heat go?
We have two hot-water bottles. One is a more traditional style and our newest addition is this more modern Fashy model. Inexplicably, this unit is always cooler to the touch AND colder faster than the older traditional hottie. I can't explain it. We'll fill the both of them simultaneously with the same amount of water and put them at the same position at the end of the bed. The next morning, this one is lukewarm while the other is still hot to the touch. The construction is great. It seems durable. It generally functions well. We just can't figure out why it never radiates as much heat and cools down more quickly. Per Physics, that combo doesn't math out.

Leaks after a while.
This worked well for about 4 years of medium to light use. Sadly one of the side seams started to split a few days ago. Huge bummer. I took good care of it and did not sit on it or put excessive pressure on it. This is the first hot water bottle I've ever had that split. In the past its usually the cap that starts to breakdown. Disappointed that it didn't last longer.

I had 2, and the seams leaked on both --- the supplier and manufacturer did nothing.
I liked this red "transparent" Flashy hot water bottle with it's large neck and sturdy construction enough to buy 10 at $18.97 each, mostly for gifts. The two I kept are now somewhere between 1 and 3 years old. Though I treated them gently, the seams have failed on both. I contacted Flashy, who wanted the lot numbers and a description of the problems, but referred me to Amazon to address returns. The seller only accepted returns for a month, so I am stuck with an expensive red disposal problem. I hope the people to whom I sent the gifts faired better.I had expected that part of the high price was a company that stands behind its products, but I guess I just paid for the pretty translucent red color.

Fashy's are my favorite hot water bottles.
Fashy's are my favorite hot water bottles. I own 4 of them in various colors. My oldest one is about 4 years old. I like these water bottles because ... (1) They have a wider mouth, so they are easier to fill from the tap. (2) The top screws on easily, so they don't leak. (3) They keep the water hot for at least an hour and warm for at least 2 hours. (4) They have a smooth and a ribbed side, so you can choose how much heat you want against you. Definitely worth the extra money!
