HIGHLY Recommended!
This little bluetooth receiver is AWESOME! I have it connected to a custom, built-in audio system (quad-channel Monsoon MM-2000) in my bar and it sounds killer! We can connect to it via iPhones, iPad, Android phones, you name it, and it is THE fastest connecting bluetooth device I've ever used. Audio quality is excellent, for a bluetooth receiver, and it STAYS connected to whatever the device might be for DAYS at a time. NO drop-outs or disconnects EVER!Setup is a snap and you connect to it just like any other device. The device name is 'UNIFY' in the list of available bluetooth devices. For SO LITTLE MONEY, I'm stunned at the quality of this little receiver. I leave it plugged into the power adapter all the time, so I can't speak to how long a charge might last. I just don't want to have to keep track of how long it's been powered up or how long a charge might last. Just one less thing to worry about.Normally, I have my LG V10 cell phone plugged into the sound system. It has a 24-bit/192KHz DAC in it and I have a few hundred 24-bit/192KHz FLAC files stored on a 128GB SDHC card inside my phone. I can definitely hear the difference between streaming via bluetooth and the direct / hard-wired connection (high quality 1/8" cable between my phone and the audio system input) between my phone and the Monsoon audio system. For MOST people, the bluetooth sound quality is excellent and MOST people can't hear any difference. I have been an audiophile for DECADES though and I can definitely hear the difference. Still, the sound quality this little bluetooth receiver provides is EXCELLENT and if I just want to have music playing and I'm NOT doing any serious listening, I use this UNITY bluetooth receiver to connect and I'm perfectly happy with it.It's VERY compact (actually tiny), comes with cables, charger and everything you need to get up and running immediately. Sound quality is excellent, it connects VERY quickly and reliably and I can't find ANY fault in this little gem. HIGHLY recommended!

Great Product- Easy Setup, Easy Use, Good Quality.
This wireless Bluetooth 4.0 Receiver Etekcity Wireless Bluetooth 4.0 Receiver Audio Adapter (NFC-Enabled) for Sound System was about the easiest electronic device I've ever experienced setting up- just connect the cords, charge, pair & play! The NFC radio pairing feature is awesome- I just tap my Android Marshmallow OS phone to the unit with my Bluetooth set to either on or off and it will ether automatically pair with it set to "on" or if the phone's Bluetooth radio is off, it will simply ask me to pair on my phone before it does so. For my PC, I simply pair it like any other Bluetooth device. Sound quality is quite good- it did take some tinkering with my receiver to get the output to sound at it's best, but for a portable, rechargeable, Bluetooth receiver device at this price level, I couldn't really ask for more. It works just as advertised- it's very easy to setup and even easier to use, so you may enjoy robust sound from Mobile Devices/Bluetooth Enabled PC's anywhere you'd like... The 3.5mm Aux Cord connection in addition to the RCA cable connection option means you can use this device on just about any receiver or speaker system out there. The fact that it is small & rechargeable means I can easily take it from where it's connected to my home stereo and use it with other sound systems just about anywhere- in my home, on a friend's sound system, to my car, etc. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for an easy, dependable and high quality product to break free from small, low quality, portable Bluetooth speakers, so you may instead enjoy the benefits of your better sounding home/car stereo sound system.

Best choice among Bluetooth receivers with similar affordances
UPDATE: After several months of frequent use, I am THRILLED to report that this device works perfectly for my needs. No issues with device connection, lag, or volume control; duration of use with each charge is superb; and sound quality continues to be better than with other manufacturers. In addition, the Etekcity does not continually search for other bluetooth-enabled devices in the area. See details from my initial review below.I teach line dance from a fairly large stage, using recreation center audio equipment that requires manual connection to my iPod. I wasted a lot of time running back and forth from center to side stage starting, stopping, and/or correcting volume of my music. On the advice of a fellow instructor I started using a small Bluetooth receiver so I can carry the iPod in a beltpack, and I use the device exclusively for this purpose. When I replaced my iPod with a 7th Generation—now only 6 months old—my original receiver started to struggle, mostly with excessive connection lag that made volume control a real problem.I replaced the receiver with another brand that had fairly high reviews but inconsistently suffered the same lag (though neither Bluetooth receiver struggles with my older iPhone and iPad, and neither the receiver manufacturer nor Apple Support could explain why this might be the case). After reading yet more reviews from multiple sources, I recently purchased the Etekcity Bluetooth receiver, which cost a bit more but is definitely worth it. The receiver paired instantly with my iPod. My husband and I immediately tested at home using a pair of wired earbuds, and it maintained consistent connection and volume control, through walls, from one end of our large single story house to the other. I’ve only been using it on stage for a week, but so far, I’m very satisfied. There is no perceptible “lag” in the volume control, and as a bonus, sound quality, while not equal to a wired connection, is noticeably better than it was with either of my previous Bluetooth receivers. If this continues over time, I will be truly impressed.
