What a shame, this could be a great product with some material modifications.
Sizing runs small! Large for me was acceptable but runs a bit tight. I really wish there was an XL version since that would be perfect and cover a wider audience.I'm very disappointed in the material choice of this product. The "wrinkle free" neoprene develops wrinkles at bend points so much that the eye holes have little crows feet. Also, while a nice stitch pattern was used, putting on the mask was enough to pop the seam in the back and render the whole hood useless. Upon closer inspection, it looks like the cotton thread ripped through the neoprene material, causing the whole thing to unravel. The product I received did not have any hot time branding or tags as indicated in the description which makes me believe this is a generic product pushed with the hot time brand. While this hood is at a much more moderate price range, I cannot vouch for it's durability, authenticity, or accurate fit.If I receive any information from hot time, I'll update my review. I want to see this product get improved. With a simple adjustment of materials, I think this product could be a great alternative to other hoods with modest price range.

Female pup approved
I'm a female hood wearer, so the hood is a bit large on me. Totally expected on my part. Besides the one thing I already knew about, this hood blows it out of the water. The style is a copy of Mr. S. We all know that. It's a classic style and this company did it very well! The neoprene is sturdy and nice right out of the box, besides the chemical warehouse smell. There's no wrinkles or wear and tear like feared. The snaps are secure (be gentle using them though). And the ears are posable! The mask is play tough and easy to clean, making it a toy box favorite.Overall, if you're a pup on a budget I suggest this mask. It's sturdy and won't let you down.*cleaning your mask- wear the mask into the shower. Lather a generous amount of dish washing soap into the hood on all areas, making sure it suds and cleans. Rinse as normal, making sure the water runs clean when finished. Remove from shower when done, and blow balloon inside to keep shape as it dries. If muzzle needs help, lightly stuff with paper towels*

A Good Starter Hood
I bought this hood fully expecting it to be a piece of junk. But man it doesn't disappoint. It has its minor flaws but nothing critical that would prevent me from recommending it to other pups. I even bought a second one in a different color because i liked it so much, Ive done a full review which is posted on this products page as well as on youtube and facebook.Ive compared this product side by side to a major brand Mr.SLeather Puppy hoods and this product actually stands in very close second. while the Mr.SLeather hoods are the superior brand this hood is great for someone who can not afford a Mr.SLeather Hood but still would like to have one to get more involved in the community and help get into that puppy space. The only major flaw it has is that upon recipe it smells of rubber or gasoline but this is easily washed off which a light body soap and water. Neoprene is water proof so caring for it is pretty simple just hand wash it and let it air dry with a balloon inside to give it a head to keep it stable.

Really good puppy hood for cheap
I was really happy with this hood. For only $30 it's a really high quality hood. It fits well, is very comfortable, doesn't restrict eyesight at all, and looks great. Two minor things to note:1. It really is shipping all the way from China. My order shipped January 17th, and didn't arrive until January 29th. So just understand that if you buy this particular puppy hood, be very patient, as it will take a long time to get to the United States of America.2. When it first arrives, it smelled kind of like gasoline. However, I cleaned it in warm water and a dab of Tide, and let it dry completely. After that, it has a light, inoffensive odor, kind of like a tire store. So just understand that when you first get it, it will be a bit stinky, and you need to wash it to minimize that.I'm looking forward to many years of fun time with it.

Not Mr. S quality by any stretch, but very good to figure out if you're 'in' to it.
The stitch quality is China. The overall quality is also China. No two ways about that.I ordered two hoods (different colours). One came in pretty good shape with most of it sewn well with the chin flap being the only exception; it wasn't sewn entirely straight so the corner tore on the second or third wearing. It's still wearable and I'll use some neoprene patching material to fix. The other came with the center of the muzzle not sewn straight and with an oily substance on the outside; maybe sewing machine oil. Both absolutely STANK of fresh rubber so strongly that neither hood could be worn for 2 full days while they air-dried. (My new Mr. S hood had no such problem)The stitching is very light weight, especially if you compare it to an authentic Mr. S hood. The two are night and day in terms of quality and sewing. The neoprene used is very thin and will wear/tear through higher stress places that have no reinforcement, like the bridge of the nose where the hood opening is.The smooth/shiny neoprene used is VERY light weight. and can be easily torn/knicked with fingernails because the skin is so thin. Again, this is in large contrast to an authentic Mr. S hood where they use some really tough neoprene.I wanted to return the derpy-muzzled hood but they wanted me to pay shipping back to China instead of an Amazon warehouse! Well, it'd cost about half as much or more the cost of the hood to do that, so I decided to keep it.I've mentioned authentic Mr. S hoods a couple of times now in my comparison; there is definitely more than one reason they are $140 (190 for a custom) and these are $35.
