Dangerous Threads Mens Heavy Duty Black Leather Belt 1 3/4" Wide

Best casual belt I've ever purchased. The quality makes you realize just how cheap and poorly made most store-bought belts are. And this is actually leather, not some synthetic garbage covered in a bit of leather like most. I expect this to last years and years. Recommended

Highly recommend!I have been searching for a belt to replace a 1 3/4 inch wide Abercrombie & Fitch belt I have had for YEARS.I've even looked as far as Italy!Always came up short - in width or size of buckle...I've in a pinch purchased a Made in China $20... wasn't worth $5 (prolly the exact cost to make)... I even kicked myself in the head after buying it due to the fact I hate not supporting USA Manufacturers... It was for my husband who isn't all that physical... and wouldn't "abuse" the belt...Split and separated... garbage...OKAY... now for the details....I am a 34 waist... I ordered a 36 (knowing that if it didn't fit I'd give to my husband who needed a replacement anyways for the POS Wal-Mart buy)The Size 36 only left me with 2 holes to spare... and not a lot of slack... However it was perfect for a 33 waist.I was so happy with the quality, dimensions, and size of the buckle... Almost Identical to the A&F one I've been trying to find a replacement for... But looks and feels much better (not flimsy). I ordered a 2nd... This time I ordered a size 38. Perfect.You can tell the owner/operator cares about his craft... Packing slip is detailed and signed. Quickly reading it they are committed to customer service and satisfaction.I normally do not go out of my way to write a review... so doing so clearly states my satisfaction.It was a previous review that actually helped my decision.Price is spot on... hence me ordering a 2nd. I will definitely order from them in the future (dress belt).Honestly, other than the color of the belt and the discoloration of the buckle... the A&F belt has held up...I fully expect this one to also stand the test of time.Quality made in the USA... even thoe it's Tennessee j/k

This is a high quality belt. I read some reviews prior to ordering this belt and a review or two said runs a little small. I have a 34 waist so I ordered a belt for a 36 waist. I received my belt and tried it on but I could only get it to latch on the second hole. I normally where a belt with enough "tongue" to tuck under my first left belt loop on my pants but because the belt ran short I couldn't do this. I eventually called Dangerous Threads and explained my story to them asking if I could exchange my belt for a larger size. Bob Kitchener, the owner was very professional and polite said "please send back to him the invoice that came with the belt to Dangerous Thread and he would send then next largest size (38). I did send in the belt via US mail and a week later I received the new replacement belt which fit PERFECT and I LOVE IT, THANK YOU BOB, the quality is second to none. If you're looking for a belt that will last you a VERY LONG time because of it's craftsmanship, then buy your next belt from Dangerous Threads, you won't be sorry, I promise. Enjoy!

This is my second one, still very good, not quite as good as the first, which was a wee bit stiffer than this one, with a smoother finish on the trouser bearing side. It is still very attractive, and thick, emphasis on thick. I usually carry a great deal on my belt, always a flashlight, many times a "Pockit holder" that keeps tactical flaslight, Leatherman, knife sharpener, etc. handy, with that rig, I sport a Kabar "Mule" folder as well on my left hip. The right side of my belt is always reserved for the firearm of the day. The belt will easily support my IWB holsters for my 1911, or Colt .357 snub I carry more often than not right now. But it also supports the 1911, or C-9 9mm in Galco paddle holsters, as well as a NAA arms mini revolver in a Newt Livesay clip on for church on Sundays. Both belts have withstood the test of time, wear and tear, as well as abuse, and they still look good too. Dollar for dollar, can't beat em ;o)

Great belt, but I should have ordered it 2 inches longer like some other reviewers wrote. I went by the instructions on sizing the belt, but it is two inches shorter than every single one of my current belts that are labeled as the same size as this one.This is very thick, heavy duty leather, and although not quite as wide they advertised, I'm glad because if it was the full 1 3/4 inches, it would not fit in my 501 belt loops.I picked up a Ford blue oval belt buckle and it added the extra two inches, and I have to say that I think the belt will outlast the buckle...All in all, worth every penny

I have worn this belt with my jeans for the past 8 months. When wearing this belt, my jeans do not roll over at the waist. To me, the plain black finish looks great with any jeans/shirt combination. This belt (and buckle) is durable. I figure I'll still be wearing the belt five years from now and the buckle, held in place by 2 heavy duty snaps, can be changed out. I bought a size 38 for my size 36 waist and it fits just right. The belt is 1 3/4 inches wide, too wide for the loops in dress slacks and a tight fit in khaki slacks, but it sure looks good with jeans.
