Sweet Gaiters
I searched through all the gaiter choices on here for quite awhile. Read reviews. Looked at the pictures. Finally these caught my eye and I am glad they did. These are top notch. No complaints at all. I'm a big guy and have fairly big calves and the Large size fits me perfectly. Love how these feel a bit more flexible and soft seeming material but they are still solid and protect your legs nicely. I forget I'm wearing them they feel so nice. Good adjustability with the cinch behind the knee and the very durable looking under the boot strap. Like the zipper up the front and the nice quality velcro flap that seals over that. Really feels like it locks you in. And once you have it set right its a quick easy maneuver to put them on or take them off. Feels like these should last a long time. Definitely recommend these.

Dry Feet!
We've had a lot of snow this winter and it's not melting. It just gets deeper and deeper. So my daily walks in the woods with my dog have been leaving me with soaking wet pants and socks, and freezing cold feet. Rubber bands around the ankles of my pants were not doing the trick. These gaiters are great. I came back from my hike today with warm dry feet, what more can I say?Well, they were easy and quick to put on. I like the little metal hook that you can slip over your bootlace so that they'll stay snugly attached and not let snow sneak in. Also the elastic around the ankle is helpful. I can't tell how long the zipper and bottom strap will last, but the gaiters are easy to slip on without unzipping (as long as you do it before you put your boots on) so the zipper won't get much stress from me. The strap that goes around the bottom of the boot looks easily replaceable if it happens to break. Also I like the fact that they are clearly labeled R and L so you don't have to fumble around figuring out which goes on which leg.I'm very happy that I have these sleek, light, gaiters and I don't have to cut up another chicken feed bag and rubberband it around my legs next time I want to go snow shoeing. (Although those feedbags do kinda work in a pinch.)Edit: Hmmm, I have to say that after just 3 or 4 uses the edges of the velcro strips are seriously unravelling, and part of one strip is coming off entirely. I'll have to run this under my sewing machine. I don't want to remove a star because the vendors were very nice about communicating with me and quickly sending the correct item when amazon originally shipped the wrong one. But just saying, they are pretty sloppy seams. Especially since I haven't even been putting pressure on them by undoing the velcro. I've just been slipping them over my feet before I put the boots on.

Good Enough for Field Biology
I work as a field egologist in a sagebrush steppe ecosystem. I was tired of cheatgrass seeds and sagebrush stems getting into my shoes and socks. This pair of gaiters did the trick. I have been using them with great success on long work days, and they have held up well for a couple of months now. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are quite big around the calf. If you are a small-medium sized person, expect these to be somewhat baggy around the calf. I have yet to use them in wet or snowy conditions, but they have given no indication that they would perform below expectations. Highly recommend.

works well, hook could be better placed
These work well, and are easy to put on. I would however have preferred if the zipper and flap were offset so that the hook to engage the boot laces was anchored to the gaiter rather than the flap over the zipper. The strap under the sole of the boot works very well. It's flat enough that it doesn't cause problems with cross country ski bindings, but it much more durable than an elastic strap. Once you have it adjusted for length, you can just put your heel in the "stirrup" and zip up the gaiter.

Performs as advertised, good quality
These work well. I bought them for riding motorcycles as an alternative to chaps. I want to keep my pants dry on my way to work when the roads are wet, but it isn't raining or not full raining. They serve the purpose well, and much warmer than I had anticipated. They take up A LOT less room in the saddle bag than chaps, so it's nice to have around. I feel the sizes ran a little large, if I ordered again, I'd order the L not the XL, but my wife's S fit her fine. I had hoped they would also be a time saver, but they take about as much time to put on as chaps. Over all a decent product that does what it says and nothing less

Amazing and work perfectly
Wanted to wait to I put these things through the true riggers of a Colorado winter hiking trip before I posted a review.Went snowshoeing up to Waterdogs Lakes in Salida, CO in well over 4 feet of snow and these things performed flawlessly. Several times stepped waist deep and not a bit of snow got through.Easy to put on and remove with show pants, snow boots and gloves. Very comfortable as I didn't realize I had them on until I stepped through the snow without snowshoes and no snow made it through.Great buy at an great price.

So far, so good! 5 star
I have REALLY thick calf muscles and other gaiters have always been really tight on me. Especially because I wear multiple layers and hike a lot. These fit GREAT. So far I’ve had them for about a month and have done 3 hikes in the Rocky Mountains across various terrain and am very happy with these. I wear mid height Keen waterproof boots with wide sole, while using these gaiters I’ve walked through areas with 2 feet on snow and have stayed dry. The top has a nice strap to secure the gaiters and prevent them from slipping down while walking. Will continue to test and update throughout the winter.

hiking- great in the snow
I use for easy hikes in the snow, with ankle boots or snow shoes. Nice to use with just pants and long underwear when a snow-bib or snow-pants are not needed. Keeps snow out of tops of ankle boots, pants dry and blocks the wind. I find it easier to keep them zipped, unzip part way from the top and then slide onto legs. Less hastle then trying to zip up while bending over, holding wrapped around the leg while trying to engage the entire zipper.

Lightweight
I bought these gaiters for next winter, the material looks high quality, I like it. Perfect fit, lightweight and easy to get on & off. It's a quick dry out material, recommended.
