Awsome
Defenetly worth reading. But..... Um, fierce teeth is uh, well, not someone I would free from prison. So what if she doesn't like glory?? THE WORLD IS NOT PERFECT. YOU DONT HAVE TO BE QUEEN TO SAVE THE WORLD.SHE DOSENT WANT TO SAVE THE WORLD! So what if queen thorn is not the queen the ENTIRE sand wing tribe adores? Its part of life. Anyway, I like the new plot. I actually feel kind of bad for fierce teeth, if she was just 5% more loyal to glory she would be a character I would like. I wish glory, clay, sunny, tusunami and star flight would keep saving the world. Anyway, AMAZEING BOOKS!!!!

The power of the pen leads to a prison escape
Only rated 4 stars because I preferred the other 3 Winglets short stories. This is the story of FierceTeeth, StarFlight's half sister, who is imprisoned by Thorn at the Scorpion Den in book 5 "The Brightest Night", and then escapes in book 9 "Talons of Power". The story consists of letters back and forth between FierceTeeth and the Sand Wing prison guard Saguaro. The book is mostly long letters by FierceTeeth, followed by short responses by Saguaro. The book ends with Saguaro releasing FierceTeeth and her co-conspirator StrongWings.

Loved it
This book is pretty good because it tells the back story of Fierce teeth and Strong wings and why Fierce teeth did what she did.Good book in general but very short wich is probably why it's only 0.99 but I would defiantly recommend to people wanting to know more about t Fierce teeth's background

The book was amazing! Not nearly as much death as I thought, and Feirceteeth is a very avid writer. Who could guess? Overall a great addition to the wonderful Wings of Fire series, and I look forward to the rest of the Winglets books.
This book was amazing! Saguaro definetly is hiding something, and I never knew how Feirceteeth felt about Strongwings before. This really gave me a great perspective of a rarely-mentioned character, and I really look forward to reading the rest of the Winglets books!!

YESSS!!!! This is a must-read for ALL FanWings!!!!
I have always wondered what growing up as a "normal" NightWing was like, and this short story was great for that and if you ever wanted to know what was happening in Fierceteeth's mind, than you NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!! I was extremely impressed, and it was great to read while waiting for the next Wings of Fire book, (even though I read it in a day. And I have to wait til JUNE now for Winter Turning to come out.) plus there was an excerpt from Winter Turning at the end. In, this short story surpassed my greatest expectations and so in conclusion, all FanWings (fans of Wings of Fire) must Must MUST read this. Can't wait for another! Keep writing, Tui T. Sutherland!

More Lore for Fans
I found out this several years ago, before it was even released. I became interested because, I figured that once Fierceteeth went on trial, nobody would want to consider her motives.Speaking of her motives, I understood them. She was angry at Starflight because, he recieved much more attention than her. (And all over a prophecy that would turn out to be false.) She was also angry because, she was ineligible for said property. That and she didn't approve of the new queen. However, that was due to her beliefs, not the fact that a queen had never ruled two tribes at once before. On another note, the formatting could've been improved. There was a little improper spacing. Also, there were so many sentences with dotted lines under them, I thought it looked unprofessional. I couldn't complain too much, though since, I didn't even spend a dollar on this.On the plus side, I learned a little bit more about NightWing Society. I thought it was a bit interesting. Also, I liked how Fierceteeth and Strongwings decided to be punished together. All that considered, I found myself unable to like either main characters. I thought Strongwings was more tolerable because, he didn't see his mother lose an unborn dragonet then behave as though he was supposed to get all of the attention. However, I found myself with a greater understanding of their motives. Futhermore, I found that it stressed the horrendous living conditions mentioned in The Dark Secret.

A FanWing Must-have!
This is abolutely splended! I have been wondering about NightWings since the reveal of their old home, and this book gave us quite a bit of background about both Feirceteeth and the NightWing tribe, and we also learn about Fireceteeth's odd relationship with Strongwings (For curious fans like me!). This story was also told in a very unique way, a way I am very interested in. This story overall sparked a respect and curiousity for NightWings, a special relation to Fierceteeth, and I think I speak for the FanWings when I say, although very short, Tui bas wowed us again with her newest installment yo our belovdd fandom.
