Ghost Hunting Night Vision Full Spectrum Video Camera with WiFi + Free IR Light

I got this for paranormal investigation in order to take stills with limited or no light. It is very small and from what I am gathering was designed more for a GoPro situation rather than being held in your hand. If you have big guy hands, holding this camera will be tricky. I wish there was an attachment so you are able to hold it better. There are several attachments so it can be attached to things, I guess bike bars, helmets etc. I don't need those but I am sure others do. There were no direct instructions included about where to mount the IR light. I had to contact the manufacturer to ask. It is important that the light itself not pass the lens itself. The manufacturer was very quick getting the paperwork to me about the mounting of the IR light. What was also not in any literature, is that you cannot take close up pics with this camera--not using the IR that is. If you do, you will get this round white circle of light on the picture. This camera is better for a greater distance other than a closet or tight area. This was nowhere and I had to do about 1/2 of research on the internet to find out the situation not based on this particular camera but on other IR capability cameras. Set up was easy. For the price, this camera I am hoping will do the trick, until I can afford a higher end camera. We shall see when we use in during a case this weekend.

I volunteer in sea turtle rescue and go through a lot of IR cameras. We have tried them all. I actually like this little guy a lot! I have a pile of every camera under $200. There are two IR gopro knock offs on Amazon. This one from GhistStop this was MUCH better than the other from GhostPro!. The sound quality was clear, the wifi and app worked well, the interface was not complicated. The picture is more on the purple-ish spectrum than my Wildgame Innovations action cam, but is easily corrected. Alternatively, the GhostPro audio was unusable and tinny like the old Bell and Howell pocket cam, the picture was more purple, less sharp and although it said it had WiFi on the case, it didnt. They look very similar and perhaps even come from the same factory, but they are NOT the same!!! This Ghost Stop version was far superior to the GhostPro, but cost $50 more. It is worth it ONLY if you are going to use the video for something important. Search google for SeaTurtleOP to see how we use it.What I liked most is the size and that it uses all of my existing GoPro accessories, especially the waterproof case which I cannot live without on the beach in unforgiving conditions. DO NOT get this for daytime use! This is for dark, IR use when there is no natural light and your intent is to capture black and white without any visible light. Considering the alternatives, this is a great choice.

Great IR camera. My only gripe is, the battery only last for a few hours.

The camera is fine, but it won’t accept any sd micro cards that I’ve tried. It will format the card, but never finds the memory card.

All of it's features are great.

LOVE this thing! I've taken it out on several investigations. The battery life is better if you let the screen time out. I'm horrible in that I have to see what I'm recording--as if I wasn't in the room. Great camera. Not great audio, though.
