I have purchased over two dozen of these boxes over the last six months. I find the box to load very fast and while the interface is somewhat different than other android boxes it's perfectly acceptable. I recently have had a problem with two of the boxes. One won't load and the other won't even turn on. Now the nightmare begins. Contacted geekbuying and finally got a response. They requested more info about my problem and I sent them three return emails and thus far no response from them. I knew from their initial email to me that I was going to get the run around and apparently from viewing some of these posts I'm not the only one. They say on their amazon site that buy with confidence and that they have a return USA shipping address. Beware of that as well because if you go on their website they say return to China. Now I ask you. Who's gonna do that? So in closing and to be fair I think the box overall is right there with the best of them in terms of it's performance and better than most. But if you can't buy and feel confident about your purchase and customer service is poor at best then I will look elsewhere myself in the future and warn you fellow buyers of my experience with geek-buying. I actually bought the S89-H for $10 more. This box setup fine out of the box: powered up, connected to wireless network, and allowed installation of ad dons such as Mashup. However, all video we've watched has a known issue with audio not synchronizing with the video. The widely accepted solution is to root the box, but that didn't work for me. Also, many adding available under Android 4.2.2 aren't compatible with 4.4.2, bit this should change as those adding are updated. Otherwise, this box is fast as advertised, and I look forward to finding the fix for the audio issue.

I own or have used numerous media devices (WDTV Live, Roku 2 XS, Apple TV 3, KDLinks HD700, Chromecast, WDTV Live SMP) and this one is the most fun so far. With XBMC, this device can play just about everything, including DTS and Dolby D. It has the Play store for other audio/video apps. I have run across a few apps that say they are incompatible, but most everything works. It has excellent speed, both on the device itself and through the 5ghz wifi connection.This is the first Android TV box for me. Judging by the reviews of some products out there, that's probably a good thing. This one works well.

This is the first media center I own. I held out between Roku 3, Tronsmart 928 and a Minix box. Finally settled with this due to the quality of these Amlogic chips.Plays all definitions very well and XBMC has many robust functions.Only a couple of notes:- Need to install all the codecs from Google Play- Need to buy a wireless keyboard and mouse. I got the logitech (around $20) has touchpad built in.- sound syn is still unresolved even after manual firmware update in XBMC. Wonder now if I should just root the thing. Heard OTA updates will be available soon for those who doesn't like to do manual updates.

HDMI did not work right out of the box. Tried a couple of different HDMI cables and TV's. I unhooked my old android box and installed this one in its place. No output. Went back to old box with same setup and it worked immediately. These boxes are a crap shoot. Maybe your will get lucky. Returning mine for a refund.

Given the intended use I had for this round box, I give it 5 stars because I'm not disappointed. It has a very capable hardware in there; however, I don’t think it is fit for everyone. I say this because it didn’t perform well out of the box. I had to flash multiple firmware versions to get it to run satisfactorily.For computer freaks, it’s five stars. For normal end users I would say it is 3 stars, at least until the few defects present are completely ironed out.So far I don't regret the buy. It's been a very interesting toy to play with.

Since posting the below review, Geekbuying has stepped up and backed their product and have actually been quite responsive and willing to correct the issues stated below.Thank you GaryBuyers beware:Here is my experience. I received the Tronsmart Vega 2g/16g with two weeks - fine; however, upon the first use I noticed an awful smell of burning plastic.This device gets dangerously hot. The Vega, at first boot did not function properly as I could not make wifi connection, the aspect ratio was way off on the screen and there was no sound control functioning. After several tries, I was able to connect but then the system re-booted (shut down). This happened several times (re-booting/shutting down) and this is when I started smelling the burning components - 15 minutes of use. I unplugged the unit to let it cool for a few hours....not happy!With each trial, attempting to boot the system, the Vega continued to overheat and function defectively. At one point I was able to open XBMC long enough to start a movie, with fleeting wifi connection; however, the sound and video were way out of sync. This unit quickly locked up and is now a non-functioning $120 piece of plastic - which by the way - Geekbuying will not stand by. I contacted them and they demand that I pay for the return shipping. I now have a dispute filed with Amazon and my credit card co.Very very poor customer service on a product wrought with problems. I'm sure that other units work well enough as far as perhaps not overheating but my Vega is now a burnt plastic paper weight. Read for yourselves the mounting problems with this unit so that you can make an informed decision as to whether or to to buy this. The one I received was junk which is too bad as I have other Tronsmart products that works very well. YMMVGood luck
