I have managed perfectly well without one of these for years. I do do a lot of baking. I liked the sound of an extra pair of hands. I was tempted. My Nan who was a professional cook had one in her tiny kitchen. Everything in that kitchen had to be well worth the space it took up. So they had to good didn't they? I couldn't justify spending a fortune in case it turned out to be a white elephant. It certainly hasn't been trumpeting around my kitchen. It's great. I make a lot of bread. It does a lovely job of kneading it so I don't have to. It has improved the texture of my bread. I have made three cakes with it and whisked stuff with this to make a topping for one of the cakes. It's definitely a great help in the kitchen. In the couple of weeks I have owned this I have used it more than I have EVER used my food processor. This is simple to use and very easy to clean. The attachments are nice and solid and easy to clean. I am pleased I bought it. Let's see how long it lasts because it is certainly going to work hard for it's bench space.

not bad, takes out the hard work..

I love a stand mixer. I was a bit worried that I had gone for style over substance with this mixer. Until recently I had the Von Chef one which was a good mixer but didn't have the looks of this one. However upon using it a couple of times I am more than happy with its performance. It gets right into the corners and so far seems to have plenty of power. I've not used the dough hook yet, but I don't think it will pose any problems. At the cost it seems to be a cracking buy, it's a good couple of hundred cheaper than a kitchen aid. As I mentioned before it looks stunning in the kitchen. It was well packaged and the power lead can be tucked away for easy storage.

Christmas present for my 11 year old daughter . Looks great , simple to use , very sturdy and mixes great. Glad I chose this mixer over more expensive ones . This one is perfect for a first time stand mixer

My mum has had a food mixer for as long as I can remember (58 years)) and I have always wanted one. Saw this item loved the colour and the price. Swan are a good brand. Once ingredients are whisked I have to lift the whisk end up and mix by hand as the whisk does not go near the bottom of the bowl or the sides. Also the maximum speed is not high enough to whisk meringues. I have made two cakes but instead of being quicker than my hand whisk its takes considerably longer.Please can you let e know how to return and get my money back as this does not perform as well as I wanted it too.

I wrote a great review for this item a couple of days ago without having used it! Unfortunately I have used it now and it does have some issues (that I've seen mentioned in other reviews.) Not only is the fastest speed quite slow so that is probably why it is so much cheaper than other models but the whisk attachment doesn't meet the edge or bottom of the bowl which I found to my cost as I was making a Yorkshire pudding batter but when I poured it out there was a MASSIVE clump of raw flour even though it had been whisking for ages. Just be prepared as it really is a handsome piece of kit and a good price but I have to be honest, it isn't actually that great.

Had this a few years now, I think. It's okay but hasn't lasted very long as the motor is starting to go. I do use this 2-3 times a week. Going in my last one (different make) that died after 10 years! Looks nice but isn't up to the job in my opinion.

Considero un acierto completo haberla comprado, a parte de la estética retro que me encanta, debo decir que tiene un motor muy potente, robusto y aparentemente muy duradero. Es silenciosa a bajas velocidades, ahora bien tal y como muestro en el video con una masa de pan de más de 1kg y a toda velocidad si estamos cerca evidentemente se oye, sin desmerecer otras opiniones yo considero que es un sonido muy adecuado al trabajo ejercido.Como conclusiones os la recomiendo por encima de otras marcas de mayor importe, la considero un producto muy bien adecuado en calidad/precio y tengo la sensación que seguiré comprando productos de esta marca sin dudarlo.Además con la máquina viene un documento que te da la extensión de garantía por parte del fabricante de 3 años.

Tras revisar multitud de comentarios sobre amasadoras y tras descartar todas aquellas que siendo más económicas tenían comentarios negativos en relación a su estabilidad, muchas de ellas se mueven más de lo debido (Bosh), o el nivel de ruido excesivo, al final nos dimos cuenta que es mejor invertir un poco de dinero y la verdad es que no nos arrepentimos. Además la Swan es preciosa con su estilo retro, aunque se debe admitir que su tamaño no es pequeño. En cuanto al amasado funciona muy bien para las masas de pan. Es muy sencilla de limpiar. De veras que la recomendamos. Si no le damos las 5 estrellas es porque nos hubiera gustado la de color rojo, pero tener que pagar 50 euros de más solo por eso no tenía sentido.

No he tenido que amasar nada solo he puesto el nivel 2/3 para amasar el roscon de mazapán ... no e tocado prácticamente la masa una pasada ya tenía ganas de una máquina de estas pero no me decidía y al final opté por esta maravilla una pasada ... ruido hace un poco pero no me molesta .. es robusta llegó a tiempo como esperaba tres días nada más ... es súper elegante y grande con mucha capacidad, llego bien embalada sin daños estoy encantadisima aparte es fácil de limpiar y súper bonita para hacer decoración en la cocina .. la recomiendo 100%

No es cómoda para añadir complementos mientras amasas no hay espacio en otras máquinas si.

De momento muy contento con la compra. La hemos utilizado para batir nata, hacer merengue, amasar pan, pasta quebrada, magdalenas.También agadecer al vendedor que no ha subido el precio de forma desorbitada como han hecho otros vendedores de amasadoras en amazon.
