I must confess I bot this as a sex toy, and it does massage the prostrate with a pleasant effect. HOWEVER, IS WAS SURPRISED THAT IT HAS REALLY HELPED MY PROSTATE HEALTH: I'm 61, and before I had trouble urinating in a constant flow, and it took a looooong time, embarassingly long like when at a movie theater, and 3 teenagers have come and left and I'm still standing there waiting lol. Now I have a constant flow ALL THE TIME. I tend to wear it most of the night, as it's quite comfortable once u get used 2 it. Sex sells, as we all know, and I probably wouldn't have believed any health claims (which the manufacturer is probably not legally allowed to make, anyway). I'm so fortunate I bot this. I no longer dread trying to urinate, because the "trying" part is gone. BUY IT, GET USED TO IT, WEAR IT TO BED, AND ENJOY THE HEALTH BENEFITS as well as the pleasurable effects.

Received the Progasm in the mail finally. I was eager to try it as I've heard so much about Aneros products.I feel it may have been slightly over-hyped.For the beginner's in anal pleasure, this particular device may be a bit much for you, with it's larger head. For experienced anal players, it may still take some adjusting. I was quite surprised by the heads thickness. It definitely provides the full feeling, but only around that spot. The rest is so small you hardly notice it.Took me a couple minutes to get it completely inserted due to the large head. Afterwards, I read the directions as I had no clue how this was supposed to work. After reading it, you learn you have to contract your sphincter muscles and it will touch your prostate. It takes some working to find your best rhythm but it can be done.Me, it wasn't getting the job done as good as I thought it would. I think a vibrate effect would help it further, but this does not have such a thing.Overall, it's a great beginner's product, but for the anally experienced, you may want something better. Maybe with a vibrator or something.Edit*After a year almost of use, I feel this device fails to deliver on all its claims or anyone else who proclaims its magical capabilities.It takes to long to get any sort of feeling from this. If it where maybe 2-3 inches longer it'd be perfect, but as it is, it's too restrictive and doesn't do enough. For novice's its a start, for experienced users, get something else.

After reading the reviews, I felt that this was the one for me. I think it was the double tang's which massage and stimulate the perineum. I think they call it the "K"-tab. First I'd have to say that this unit stays in real well when standing upright while walking or showering. The walking sensation is very massage like and can be stimulating, whereas standing the shower you can do the Kegel type exercises which also massages and stimulates.I did not when relaxed enough, and lubricated enough it can slip out and drop to the floor. Could be somewhat embarrassing if it is a tile floor in a gym type locker room. Fortunately, it did not break or go squirting out into public view.The negatives, which is why I gave this a 3 star review comes more from the design of the "K" Tabs. They are very hard and do get uncomfortable after about 15 mins. I also could not sit down when this is in, as those tabs push too hard on those sensitive bits they are designed to stimulate, and it can actually hurt. That may be my fault for buying the wrong one, as Aneros had several with less dramatic and hard tabs.It is also very easy to clean, as it is a rock hard piece of plastic.Update: After 4 years, this device has been a great tool. I had to heat the Ktabs and bend them flat, which made wearing this for several hours much easier. It is fairly small, short and thin, but great for beginners. I now use it to push in suppositories when needed. So versatile and easy to keep clean.

some context: I am a fairly experienced toy user so some of my experiences may not reflect the average first time user of this device.I upgaded to the Progasm from the Helix model, which unfortunately didn't have the reach I needed, tended to slip out, and just didn't feel filling enough when in position. The Progasm, which I tried for the first time today, has none of these issues. It is a big upgrade in terms of both length and girth, and it fit me perfectly. The new spherical tabs feel better than the p-tab on the Helix model and do a better job of keeping it in position, and the more pronounced shape produced sensations that I had never felt with the Helix.My first experience goes as follows:I inserted the Progasm fairly quickly (novices may want to take their time if they are intimidated by the size) and relaxed/performed contractions in the recommended fashion. For the first 20 or so minutes, the Progasm didn't feel all that different from the Helix, aside from its girth, and the stimulation was fairly mild. However, shortly after the 20 minute mark, the pleasant feeling began to intensify and then the fun really began. The pleasure that I could only briefly experience with the Helix (before it began to slip out and I had to adjust it, essentially starting over) was pretty much continuous with the Progasm, and only got better and better. My prostate is still quivering as I type this, and I finished the session hours ago.I did not manage to reach the fabled 'super-O' during this session, as after about an hour I could no longer keep my hands off myself and had to finish up, leading to what was probably the best and most intense penile orgasm I've had in a decade. The closer to your body temperature it is, the less it will feel like a foreign object entering your body.2) Try a warming lubricant. A small tube of the warming KY jelly should be enough to get you started. Once again, the warming sensation will make entry a lot more pleasant and allow you to get used to the Progasm more quickly once in position.3) Do a warmup with a finger first. This is easy to do while applying lube. With a lubed finger inserted, take a few seconds to relax and contract your sphincter around the finger, holding the contraction for as long as you can before releasing, then repeating a couple more times. This will help you loosen up and help accustom you body to the insertion of foreign objects.4) As many other commenters have noted, take it slow. Relax and adjust to the new sensations. The first insertion and removal of a toy this size will not be easy for a man who has never explored anal play (trust me though, it gets much easier over time), but once it's properly lubed and inserted, the Progasm shouldn't be too tough to handle.5) Lastly, do *not* touch your genitals, or at least try to hold off on doing so for as long as possible. Try your other erogenous zones, like the inner thighs or the nipples. Stimulating the latter heightened the pleasure for me greatly.Have fun with the toy and try different lying/sitting/standing positions.
