Mega Man Complete TV Series

Super Fighting Robot...MEGAMAN!
Before he was an NT Warrior, there was "Mega Man, The Animated Series" by way of 1994-95. Mega Man, sis Roll, and dog Rush battled it out with Proto Man, Guts Man, Cut Man, and the rest of the evil Dr. Wily's robot thugs on a weekend basis for a respectable two season, twenty-seven episode runEPISODES (They're not listed on the package or on the fronts of the discs themselves; so pay attention:)DISC 1 (EPS 1-7)The BeginningElectric NightmareMega-PinocchioThe Big ShakeRobosaur ParkMega Man in the Moon20000 Leaks Under The SeaDISC 2 (EPS 8-13)The Incredible Shrinking Mega ManBot TransferIce AgeCold SteelFuture ShockStrange Island of Dr. WilyDISC 3 (EPS 14-20; SEASON 2)Showdown at Red GulchTerror of the Seven SeasMega DreamsRobo-SpiderMaster of DisasterNight of the Living Monster BotsCurse of the Lion MenDISC 4 (21-27)The Day The Moon FellCampus CommandoesBrainbotBrobotsBad Day at Peril ParkMega X (Mega Man X and Spark Mandril!)Crime of the CenturyFrom the moment that the load screen for each disc begins, you hear the slamming synthesizer riffs from the show's opening theme. What you SEE is the 8-Bit image from the start screen of the iconic Mega Man Nintendo games from Capcom! Going into the episode menu and selecting an episode causes the disc to play through any episodes following the episode of choice rather than going right back to the Episode menuTHE SHOWI assume that if you're reading this that you're familiar with the show itself. However, if you've forgotten, this was action Saturday Morning Fare. To lighten things up, Rush was given many of the same characteristics of Scooby-Doo down to nearly the same voice. On the opposing side, Guts Man and Cut Man acted more like the two stooges, appearing in EVERY SINGLE episode (Proto Man's inclusion in every episode at least made some sense; the brotherly rivalry between him and Mega Man was an epic one). However, Pharaoh Man and Top Man were epic enough enemies to have certainly appeared more than once a piece in the series. Also, look out for the few appearances of Quick Man, Shadow Man, Snake Man, Bright Man, Elec Man, Ice Man, Ring Man, Bomb Man, and others from the original five games (Strangely, Mega Man 6 was out by now but none of the robot masters appeared). Any continuity errors made in the episodes themselves are still on the discs as these are from the master negatives (In the opening episode, Cut Man acts like he can only throw his head-mounted scissors weapon, only to later be shooting multiple projectiles from an arm mounted blaster. Also, in "The Day The Moon Fell," Proto Man is clearly seen behind Guts Man and Dark Man in a scene just before he's supposed to show up; then he shows up on cue and the episode continues from there. Minor goofs like that). For those whose memory of this is a little fuzzy as this was aired twenty years ago, some of these episodes can be downright goofy ("Curse of the Lion Men," "Campus Commandoes," "Electric Nightmare," "Mega-Pinocchio," etc.) I don't mean to dismiss these episodes as such; they were actually entertaining in their goofiness.P.S.: As you watch these, you'll discover that THE COMMERCIAL BUMPERS ARE INTACT! (Save for the commercials, of course). Therefore, the action is interrupted just long enough to hear (for my favorite classic example) "RUFF, RUFF. REGA, REGA! RIGHT RACK! RESSAGES. ROO-ROO!"; followed by the return bumper.Anyway, there you have it.

Nostalgic
If you’re a megaman fan this is a must have. This cartoon is of course corny as it is a 90’s cartoon but holds up great and is a great show. I recommend it for any fan.

A mega blast from the past!
I will admit that this is a very cheesy-fun cartoon. I didn't grow up with it because my local Fox Kids never showed it, but I did watch it on Fox Family. If you're looking for game-accuracy, look to the Megaman OVA 'wishing upon a star'. Funny thing about that OVA. It uses the original character designs for the American Cartoon. Test audiences were said to be confused when they saw Mega Man looked like he was a kid. I blame Consultant groups who like to 'improve' things, but that's not what this is about. The cartoon is cheesy, like I said before. The episode plots are contained to their own episode and thus can be watched in any order. The art is pretty good and the characters are recognizable. The music is enjoyable and quite catchy. Heck, the main menu does its best to remind the view of the title screen of Mega Man 2. Yup, it has 8-bit cartoon Mega Man.I'll admit that the Plots aren't deep, but it's a kids cartoon from the Early 90's. It was designed to sell toys, after all. The cartoon's mostly remembered for the Memes, character redesigns, and some background characters. Seriously, the Makeup robot from Electric Nightmare and Roll in this series are kinda cute.Do I recommend this? Yes, but when it's like 50-something dollars or less. Nostalgia is only so much, after all.

Very fun, intense, and action packed
Mega Man is a super fun, intense, and action packed cartoon show based on the Capcom video game series of the same name. This show is American, but it's drawn by a Japanese animation company called Ashi Production. This show is terrific. I loved it like crazy. Each episode revolves around Mega Man, Roll, Rush, and Dr. Light trying to stop the mad scientist Dr. Wily and his evil robots from taking over the world. This show has intense episodes, non-stop action, cool Japanese animation, and a great soundtrack. This DVD boxset contains all 27 episodes, and it ends with a really good final episode called ''Crime Of The Century''.This was a very fun show to watch during Christmas. I highly recommend it to anyone that loves action cartoons and anime.

Good buy for fans of the show, but I'm gonna be honest...
I've been hoping to find this show on DVD for a while now, so I was glad when I found out about this. It's way cheaper than the other ones they have floating around here on Amazon (Or it was when I bought it, anyway) and it has every single episode of the series, but to be honest if you don't mind having a small risk of them disappearing on you, you can watch the exact same episodes on YouTube for free. There are absolutely no changes from the YT videos and what you'll find on these disks.Personally, I prefer having a physical copy on the off chance YouTube does decide to take the videos down, but it's all a matter of personal preference. That aside, the package arrived in a good span of time, everything was in good condition and the disks play as they should, so I'm also super happy with all that.

Great Nostalgia
My son saw me playing the Mega Man collection, and was immediately interested in what Mega Man was. We started watching these old cartoons on YouTube, and I decided to get the full set for us to watch. It’s fantastic. Definitely recommended.

It works absolutely fine.
I don't normally write reviews, but I'm just here to let anybody know who is in the United Kingdom thinking of purchasing this DVD that it should work in VLC player, I've had no issues. Good seller. Good product. Very fast shipping.
