14.1oz (400g) is the net weight (with the water). The drained weight is 8.8oz (250g).

Q: What is the expiration date on the cans?

The cans have a best by date that is printed on the can itself. Our inventory moves rapidly so it is difficult to know which batch you will receive. As of today 12/13/2019, the cans have a best by date between 12/2021 and 11/2022.

Q: What does the quantity of four doesn’t mean? Are there for doesn’t purr can? Four doesn’t small cans? I’m not sure what the four dozen refers to.

Four dozen means 4 times twelve, which means that there are 48 snails total in the can. In France, snails are usually served by the dozen, hence the use of the term dozen on the can.
