This thing works great. Holds the heat deflector securely in three places, unlike the single grip of the cheaper ones. It may be double the price of the singe point lifters, but worth every cent.The device wraps around the heat deflector supports for a very secure grip, and you can insert and remove the device without lifting the heat deflector with your hand (like so many people complained about with the single point lifters)Not sure what Amazon means by "warmth", but still wear a heat resistant glove when using this device.The device is very sturdy, all welded construction. It will last a lifetime, then get passed down to your heirs.Oh: tech tip. Get one of those cheap charcoal grills for a place to set the hot deflector!

Great accessory
The lifter works as described makes lifting eggerator a snap! The lifter makes removal and placement very easy! I would highly recommend!

Great handle for maneuvering the plate setter (ConvEGGtor)
Works well for moving the plate setter, whether hot or cold. Does what it's supposed to.

Ordered and sent back b/c dirty. No packaging at all
This item was first sent to me in no packaging at all, so seems used. Then, when you look closely, parts are black with stuff that wipes off. I sent that one back and got a replacement with the same problem! No packaging at all, just stuck into a box that didn't fit it, no plastic, nothing to show it being new and looks dirty and can wipe the black soot or whatever off of it!!

Works well for all, especially for one handed folks.
I lost an arm so the ceramic heat difuser for the X-lg Big Green Egg that was gifted me for Father's Day was very difficult for me to remove. This device is light and easy to use to remove the difuser and put it back in. When using, the weight is centered and this greatly reduces the chances of me causing it to break. As it happens I lost my dominant arm and the remaining one is very clumsy. I don't know if this will work for other Kamodo style ovens.

Great product. Almost 5 stars.
Really happy with this item. It’ll make adding coal much easier. Item appears very shiny in the picture and that it has a spiral around the handle. The one they sent has a dirty look and no spiral around the handle. I’ll give 4 stars for these issues.

Very well made
If you have a smoker this is a great too to lift the ceramic plate, or hook a pot handle. Very well made.
