Shark Dust-Away microfiber Hard Floor Attachment HVDA300, Gray

This attachment that came with my Shark vacuum is really fantastic! I have mostly tile and a long haired dog. Dog hair tumbleweeds everywhere! Just vacuuming simply does not even half pick up the dust, dirt and hair but this attachment really does the job. I recently had knee surgery and my neighbor was helping me with chores until I was able to walk again. She volunteered to vacuumed. She has a Shark vacuum too so knew how to use my Shark. However, her Shark did not come with this attachment. She used mine for the first time and was blown away. I was laughing because she was actually having fun vacuuming my floors. Whodah thunkit? LOL. I therefore bought one of these attachments for her Shark and had it shipped to her. She was thrilled when it arrived. It fit her Shark just fine. She used it immediately in her house and loved the way it worked. I cannot imagine anyone not liking this attachment. There is suction at the front of the attachment and the pad is right behind it, picking up whatever the suction missed. When vacuuming is done, just toss the pad in your washing machine, then lay it on top of your washer to air dry. Easy!

This is my favorite style of bare floor attachments. It dust wipes while vacuuming at the same time. The reusable microfiber pads are machine washable and last a very long time. O was lucky enough to get this as used for a discount and it was described as "acceptable". I was concerned that it wouldn't be nice enough, but was happy to find that it was closer to like new with a tiny scuff on top.

I have a HV372, which was not listed as being compatible. However, it worked great! To the hand, the suction power felt weak, but it definitely picked up everything I saw on my hardwood floors. For $30, I am very excited to not have to buy a second vacuum for my hardwood!With free shipping, it’s worth trying even if your model isn’t listed as being compatible.

This attachment is worth the money for hardwood and tile floors. It is used with the Shark Rocket vac instead of the unit that comes with it. While that original is good for carpets and rugs, this attachment acts like a dry mop. I can vac and dry mop at the same time! Picks up the fine stuff like tree pollens and fine dust After the vac suctions up the large pieces of dirt. I no longer cringe when I hear tiny pebble like pieces dragging on my new hardwood floors. Highly recommend buying additional clothes so there is always a clean one ready to use! I toss the dirty one in the laundry and air dry. So far so good in the durability area. Easy to use for sure!

WORKS GREAT. CLEANS THE FLOOR. MY ELECTOLUX HAS TOO MUCH SUCTION AND "STICKS" TO THE FLOOR. THIS MACHINE VACUUMS AND CLEANS THE FLOOR AT THE SAME TIME. THE MICRO PAD PICKS UP THE GRIME - THAT I CAN NOT SEE. VERY GOOD

I bought this to deal with a laminate floor. Standard vacuuming doesn't quite get up all the dust that settles on the floor each week, especially in low traffic areas. This easily cleans that up while still getting all the debris that finds it's way onto the floor. Two long hair cats add to the mess that has to be dealt with. The design of this attachment means that the floor wiping action of the pad follows a couple of inches behind the suction of the vacuum. This makes it difficult to get all the way into corners with the pad but for the most part the pad cleans the dust from the floor with no trouble at all. One of the critical things for me is the ability to use generic Swiffer style cloths rather than the very well made pad that comes with the attachment. So much easier to just put on a new cloth each time you need one and throwing out the old one rather than washing the included cloth. This is the thing that nearly had me marking down the star rating. The attachment point for the cloth isn't designed for the throw away cloths but they do work for me. 5 stars for doing exactly what it was meant to do and doing it well.
