Shipping was decent considering they appear to have come from China to the US. I placed my order on March 28th and received them on April 12th, so not too bad.I used a propagation system that has been very successful for me with all previous seed that I have germinated. I monitored the soil temperature, soil moisture and humidity but still no growth. The soil I used was a sterile compost mixed with backfill that is blended for new seed germination, but still no growth. I bought these seeds as a project to grow with my sister who is a botanist, so I feel the experience and knowledge of germination is sufficient.The seller does not guarantee germination and will not offer refunds or replacements.I don’t know if the seeds are old or were exposed to extreme temperatures prior to or during shipping, but they have given no signs of germination.

After waiting FOREVER to receive this from China, I received this package. Really? What’s what? I think this is a scam. Fortunately, not much money spent, but I was really hopeful.

The seeds were very small and black, like some other seed packs I've seen for banana trees, but despite soaking, starter mix, and all of the various tricks I tried to get the banana seeds to sprout, nothing worked. The seeds do not grow. Don't waste your time. I tried all 200 seeds over a month and nothing happened.UPDATE: I decided to use a sprouted to see if any of the seeds would sprout. I was able to sprout about 10% of the seeds. I was then excited because I thought I could finally get a banana tree from these worthless seeds. I transplanted the sprouts, but they didn't survive. I sprouted a bunch again and about 10% sprouted, so they may be old seeds. I transplanted again and got only one plant to survive. The picture is that plant. VERY OBVIOUSLY NOT A BANANA PLANT. I am not sure what the heck it is, but it's not banana, and that soil was sterilized before transplantation. I had to keep the soil swamp-like to get the damn things to grow and it turns out to be crap.I have contacted the company about all of these issues and they care not. DON'T BUY THIS CRAP. You're best bet is just buying the actual blue Java plant online and having it delivered. I would have paid the expensive prices to have avoided all of this headache.

These are not banana seeds. If someone can correct me I'll change my review.

The seeds DO NOT germinate. Don’t waste your money or time waiting on the shipping.

It took a bit to get them, but hey there coming from over seas. I planted a few to see, we got sprouts today!!! Very excited to see how it goes!!!!

6/29/2020: No instructions with seeds. Planted them in MiracleGro soil on 5/27/2020. Nothing but wonderful soil: no banana trees germinating; watered sufficiently in a pot that drains well; plenty of sun but not too much. At a loss as to what I need to do to get the seeds to germinate.6/30/2020: Message from seller“Hello, dear customer,Banana seeds should be soaked in warm water for 24-48 hours,After the skin of the seed softens,Sow them in soft soil,Usually the seeds will germinate in about half a month,Hope this can help you. ”No, the seeds have been planted for over a month already.
