Wood Lid Cover for Chemex Coffee Maker 6, 8 or 10-Cup - Jupiter

First of all, this lid is absolutely beautiful! So much nicer than a glass lid. It's made from solid maple and the quality workmanship shows. It fits my 10 cup Chemex perfectly and the color is exactly the same as the wood collar on the coffee maker.It definitely helps to keep hot coffee hotter longer and I like using it when I'm making iced coffee in the refrigerator.I'm sure that with proper care this lid will last for years! Much longer than a glass lid that can be easily broken.

The craftsmanship is outstanding! It fits my Chemex perfectly & it tones nicely with the wooden collar. The colour isn't exactly the same, but I didn't expect it to be since wood varies so much. I received it 6 days before the expected delivery date so that was icing on the cake!

Glad they make this. I like to sip my coffee and take my time, and this helps cup #2 to be still warm. The cover fits well. The color of the wood is quite a bit lighter than the wood collar which is a little disappointing but not a deal breaker for me. This is a good addition to the Chemex brewer.

This lid fits my six cup Chemex coffee maker perfectly. Keeps the heat in a little longer and certainly is beautiful craftsmanship.

The wood is very well crafted and coated in a super smooth, easy to clean finish. I have the 6 cup Chemex, and it sits rather low in its filter holder. Since the fit can't be 100% precise, I question the usefulness of this lid. With hot coffee in the pitcher, there is condensation on the bottom of the lid after a few minutes, which would indicate that it's doing its job.

Love this---much better than the glass chemex lid. It matches the wood collar and looks great. You cannot pour with the lid in place if that is what you need, same as the glass one--but if you want to keep the dust out or retain heat this is fine. Would definitely recommend

This wood lid fits very well into my 6 cup Chemex opening. Holds the steam in to keep coffee warm longer. Since I like very hot coffee, I often leave the Chemex on the electric stove for a short time with the burner on as low as possible and this wood lid helps hold in heat. Far better than the glass lid I had previously.

The wiggly jiggly top. Although it has the correct shape for the pouring spout, it really needs a silicon gasket to seal or even fit better. There is a significant gap in the spout are so it does leak steam and won’t keep the coffee as hot. Visually it’s pretty close color match. The top plug handle could be a little bit larger. The design lacks in completeness. Obviously this person never actually put it on a chemex. Not clear how long the obviously glued handle will stay on. Very disappointed. Will be returning
