Sure Heat CS30DBRNL-60 Vented Gas Log Set, 30", Oak

The equipment is exactly as promised however I didn’t receive the remote I called and they said they were sending one out I have not received that yet I’m sure they’ll follow through at this juncture it works great and they did everything as promised except provide the remote

I hired professional plumbers to install this set. The remote would not control off/on. They contacted tech support who after working with plumbers on the phone decided to ship a new remote box/switch. After a week it arrived but did not work/ Same problem as before. This unit only works manually! Do not buy if you want remote control..

Did not stay lite at first. Called manufacturer c/s. They were not much help. Told me it was a gas pressure issue. It was not. I finally determined what the issue was myself I had to bend the pilot light flame sensor into place to get it more direct heat. Another issue is that the start up is delayed and gas ignites with a loud and large “whoosh”!! Logs could be more realistic and on 3 sides vs. 2 on some. Overall not as nice as other gas log sets I have and have had in the past.

We had to run a gas line to fireplace, we hired a professional plumber to install logs...once the job was complete it was worth it because when the electricity goes out we will use logs to heat our home...instead of going to neighbors house to stay warm.

It’s not what we thought it would be. If we had it to do over we wouldn’t buy it.
