A very sturdy mount.
A very sturdy mount.. EXCELLENT / SUPERB / easy to install instructions contained with the unit.. SIMPLE instruction sheet.. in addition a sealed wrapped package containing.. more screw/bolts/spacers that anyone would need (for all types of applications).. I was very impressed. I put my mount into studs using the lag bolts provided.. (after checking my measurements 3 times) before I drilled the holes into the studs.. which I found using my own provided stud finder.. with my wife's help.. me holding.. she starting the lag bolts in the holes I drilled in the studs.. and me finishing them off with a wrench.. that bad boy is sitting up there on the wall nice and tight.. back strips are installed on the back of the TV.. ready to slide easily in the mount.. but that crappy 40" SONY (gifted) LCD is too heavy for my wife to handle with me.. so as instructed in the EXCELLENT / SUPERB instruction sheet.. I am awaiting some help from my neighbor to help me lift the tv on the wall.. so it's not up there yet.. but I have no doubts about the mount VERY IMPRESSED

it would be nice to be able to easily adjust tilt
Pluses: worked as advertised, materials and construction are high quality, installation went smoothly, instructions were clear.Minus: You have to set the tilt and lock it, it would be nice to be able to easily adjust tilt.

Great design ... almost!
This worked fine, even impressive, except for one critical aspect, which was disappointing considering all the other well designed components. The adjustment for the vertical tilt was entirely based on how tight you can get a screw to hold a slip bar adjustment. It would have been so simple to add notches or pins or anything; instead, a heavy TV like our 46" Sony Bravia (70 lbs.) was too much weight and it tips more than we want it to. The screws stripped trying to get them to hold tighter, but that shouldn't have been the critical element. Adding something to make the adjustment secure should have been a no brainer!

Solid mount but not Solid hardware.
The tilt control keeps pulling TV down. I replaced all 4 bolts with thicker bolts and still have the same problem. TV is 92 lbs so should not have this issue. The screws on the bottom of the bracket that lock the TV in place are very thin and seems to be the cause of the tilt concern I have. Afraid to overtighten and pull my TV out causing screws to possibly break. Unfortunately I am purchasing another mount type diffrent brand and going to put this one on my 50 inch LCD in my garage.

Very strong, easy to assemble, good mobility
This mount is very easy to put together and get on the wall. Once it is up there you have a lot of mobility to see your TV from different angles. TV is also easy to remove from the mount quickly, as I experienced when my neighbors above had a leaking toilet and water started to drip on my TV! I was able to remove it from the mount in only a few seconds to get it out of harms way!

Value is excellent
When I did my research, I found many different types of brackets, ranging from this price to well over $500. This bracket works perfectly, and has quite a bit of adjustability.

It's on the wall!
It worked perfectly. IF you know what you're doing, then it's pretty easy to installed. It's been on the wall for several months now, and I'm very happy with it. I installed it myself, but it would be nice to have 2 people working on the installation, but I made it work, and I'm happy with it

Clunky, limited motion
This is heavy and clunky. It works, but it doesn't really do much except allow the tv to move side to side and front to back. The movement range is much more limited than I hoped for. I wish I had spent a little more on something more attractive and more functional. If you do not plan to move your tv around much and want it up on the wall it is ok. Seems to be sturdy.I don't love it.
