Good quality
Been using this brand, has cut back my use of Pepcid. Tastes very good, I like a stronger coffee, so I use more than they say.

It helped my Acid Reflux. For real.
I drink my coffee black, so flavor is important. I have severe Reflux issues (as in take a sip of regular bewed coffee and I have major issues/symptoms. Well....this coffee works for me. I do not get symptoms from this brew. There is a trade off in flavor(tastes weaker than regular brew) that I have gotten used to over the last few weeks.I gave it 5 stars because the product delivered as advertised. It's organic which is awesome. I may try to mix this with some "regular" coffee in the future to experiment in making the flavor stronger (again I take it black, so flavor is very important).I'm very satisfied with this product. Saved me from having to give up coffee. I'll buy it again.

When You Need Low Acid, Worth a Taste
I'm trying low acid coffee options to combat my acid reflux. Puroast comes as advertised; a reasonably priced, pleasant tasting French (dark) roast with low acid and half caffeine. It came with a finer ground than I'm used to; I grind my own most days. Brewed just fine though. 12 oz bag goes fast.

The taste is terrible!
I wish I would have read the one star reviews of this Puroast coffee. And even though there are not that many one star reviews, they are all hitting the target bullseye! One of the reviews described the smell like ashes or an ash try and I couldn't place the smell but when I read that description, I too felt that is what it smelled like. And the taste....well let's just say, it does not taste like coffee!!I bought the 2.5 lbs bag for a little over $28 and that was a waste of money. I've had it for a while and tried it about five times and probably have about 2.3 lbs left. Unfortunately the rest of it will go in the garbage along with the $28.I realize there are more important things to complain about and really matter but if I can help someone else save the $28 bucks, well at least that is something.

Delicious low acid half caff coffee
I avoid the acid in coffee so I don't get acid reflux and this low acid ground coffee is excellent. I buy the ground half caffeine coffee and use it in my Keurig coffee maker, using a stainless steel Kcup. Buying the ground coffee and the stainless steel coffee filter means I save money, avoid drinking the plastic in kcups leaching into my coffee and I can buy a wide variety of coffee like this Puroast brand. I read that one billion plastic kcups go into landfills each year, so using ground coffee and a stainless steel filter ($10) cuts back on that. A winner all the way around.

Very good coffee
I like the fact that this coffee is low acid. Sometimes coffee can be harsh on my stomach, but no problems with this one. It is also half decaf which is also mellow on my stomach. Very good taste not bitter at all. I will purchase this again if the price doesn't go up higher.

Bitter for a low-acid coffee
I've always drunk and loved dark roast coffees, especially French Roast, but this one is too bitter. It has a burnt side-flavor that takes away from the depth of a usual French Roast. I'm going to try their medium roast to see if it has enough flavor for me. If not, will end this sub and look for another dark-roast, low acid coffee.

Low acid, great espresso taste
My wife and I like the taste of espresso and dark roasted coffee. But we both have digestive issues due to the acidity of most of the brands and varieties we like. I've been experimenting with several different low acid brands. While most satisfy our need for low acid brew, the Puroast Low Acid Espresso is the winner as far as taste preference. I'm also pleased that while the grind is not as fine as some espresso grinds, it works well in both my stove top espresso pot and my automatic drip electric coffee maker. Of course, if you don't care for the strong dark roast espresso taste, you may want to try some of the lighter Puroast varieties.
