They where very dull when I received them.

Great scissors
I enjoy them so far. Like any task specific tool, if you use them as intended then they should last quite awhile. That means only trimming vegetation with these scissors...not opening boxes, cutting hair, and other miscellaneous scissor tasks...these are for vegetation and will last if treated properly.
