The best on the market!!!!
If there would be more stars I definitely would give more. Not 10, as one little part is a pain in the butt to put together, otherwise it's easy to assemble and very sturdy. I bought several for our home. They look great and hold a lot of things.

Great shelf. Highly recommend.
Quality shelf. I bought two and I love them. Instructions were not the best but easy to figure out. Would definitely buy again. I recommend.

Great product at a great price.
This product fit my needs completely. At a reasonable price, and easy to put together, it not only holds all the books I need it to, but now I have room to buy even more books. And I also appreciate the look, a combination of wood (engineered) and metal.

Exactly what I wanted
I always go to the negative reviews first to make sure I'm ok with the downsides. Yea, there's some very minor flaking of the veneer, but it's largely unnoticeable. Some people had trouble with alignments, but mine fit together absolutely perfectly. The whole shelf is sturdier than I expected and not flimsy at all. Some of the X braces on the sides move a little, but those are there for tension, not side support (i.e. that doesn't affect the integrity of the shelf). It took about 2 hours to assemble from starting to open the box until placing the first book on the shelf. Overall very satisfied (other than kicking myself because the price dropped by $35 for black Friday sale the week after I bought it).

Nice shelf, Almost too nice.
The shelving is holding up. I'm impressed with the appearance. The boards aren't showing any flexing at the moment. Any statements after deal with the type of weight I've placed this unit under. Now the leveling feet. I made shims out of washers in case the threads on the leveling feet fail or strip out. My concern is whether I'm able to purchase more boards if one should break. (Waiting for an answer) The Ironck is an economical alternative to the Kallax unit. The prices of the Kallax units have been driven up due to it's large demand by owners of large record collections. (At one time the Kallax was removed from the Ikea roster but returned due to popular demand) I still have many boxes to unpack and I'm going to need two more units. My biggest concern is the leveling legs which I think should be twice the diameter used. An alternative would be factory supplied shims. (See my remedy in the pics. Washers I cut and slipped around the levelers) Something else, level the shelf first, determine how many washers you will need and unscrew/remove the leveling legs and place the washers on and you won't have to cut like I did. (My approach was after I had loaded the shelves). Normal use - two thumbs up. For my particular application the jury is not quite in.

Easy to put together, strudy and TALL.
I have 4 of these bookshelves now - they are some of my favorites and look so good. I have the shelves stuffed, and they aren't budging.

Very nice.
Pleasantly surprised. I actually ordered this by mistake and I have to say "I love it" sturdy, attractive and perfect for kitchen storage.

Sturdy and Stylish
I'm replacing all the old particle board walmart shelves in my apartment with nicer looking furniture. This was the last item I needed to get all of those out of the apartment and I love the look. Its sitting in front of a mirror wall so the openness of it makes it look like its breaking up two different rooms. I love the decorative structural pieces on this too, and to be clear all the X's on the ends are 1000% for show. They are super flimsy and don't make it stronger but that is okay because they do look good, they are light and they flex a bit making it easier to build. The X's on the back are put together with a nut and bolt system and the bolt sticks out either in the back or the front. I wasn't thinking about the mirror so I put mine in the back thinking it would look nicer, but now the pointier part faces the mirror wall. I did put some felt pads behind them just in case they ever get shook and hit the mirrors. Another thing about those X's is that they are not laid out like they are in the picture. The center of the x's are not in the middle of the opening of any shelves, instead the opening is about 1.5 inches higher than the 3rd shelf. It's just off enough to look off. I still really like the shelves and I'd buy them again. My favorite thing is that my vacuum and roomba can fit under the bottom shelf. That shelf being raised a bit looks really nice, but its also going to be a bit more sanitary as well.
