Perfect for American girl sized dolls
This was a gift for my 6 year old niece. Her mom said she and her friends played with it all afternoon after she opened it. She loves it and her friends said they are asking for Emmie furniture for their birthdays! Not kidding. This is a good buy! :)

Doll Furniture
Bought this doll furniture for my granddaughter’s 7th birthday. She loves it!! Everything came neatly packaged and my daughter put the furniture together fairly quickly without any issues.

Frustrating but doable!
Eh…the desk itself is not bad once you get it together. It’s not wobbly. Definitely takes patience. Don’t rush it. None of the screws have a leading edge so you have to carefully get each started but then it’s smooth sailing. Whomever wrote the instructions never put one together, I can tell you that. Save yourself the hassle and put the hinges on the back before you secure that piece to the desk bottom. It’s frustrating but you can do it. Plus there aren’t any other options out there…

Great gift!
This is a sturdy desk for my granddaughter’s American Girl doll. It fits well for that size of doll. It can store little accessories for the doll. I think it functions well and is a good value for the money. It’s very cute, too! She loves it!

Garbage.
Get out the glue and some wood clamps! Oh, and all the patience you can muster. This little set is cute but very cheap quality and poor manufacturing. Some of the pieces are wood (legs, desktop surface) but some pieces are definitely not “wood,” not even MDF, but some type of garbage pressed board. Total PITA ass to assemble, and this is coming from someone who is relatively handy with most anything. I certainly would never usually have trouble with a little task such as this. I haBe been tested!!This thing is made of subpar materials and it’s quite obvious that they did their best cut manufacturing costs wherever they could. The crap pressed material is so soft that when you (following directions) attempt to screw into it by way of a pilot hole in a harder actual wood piece, it causes the pressed crap to crack and split. I had this happen in three separate pieces, and from only gentle pressure with a screwdriver and before the screw was even 3/4 of the way flush. Wood splits happen. Typically from over-tightening but this was just ridiculous. When removing the screw to assess the damage, a fine powder, much like what I use to powder my nose, fell out. The material is so soft that, even if it doesn’t crack and split during assembly, there is absolutely no way it will hold up to even an hour of playtime. I doubt it could even hold the weight of an American Girl Doll through the day.I spent the next couple of hours gluing and clamping the cracked pieces together and drilling out the existing pilot holes, in order to prevent any more cracks in the remaining pieces. If I was doubting the material before gluing, I definitely wasn’t after. When using wood glue on this material, it almost instantly begins to swell and bulge for the moisture in the glue, very similar to cardboard. It’s like the crappiest version of reject MDF that you could imagine. All of the paint around the edges that were glued also bubbled up. It is in the garbage now. What a waste of time and brain cells and whatever garbage they used to source this crap material from. I’m not even sure what I paid for it, but even $2 would have been to much. Don’t bother.
