Works as expected
Needed to get my fan clutch off. However it was rusted so I couldn't use this tool. HOwever once I replaced the fan clutch the tool worked as expected. Note to the DYI people: If your fan clutch doesn't come off with a single tap/hit, you'll want to remove the radiator because further hits WILL DESTROY YOUR WATER PUMP.Ask me how I know.

Excellent: 5 min job for 2002 BMW 525i
I used this to attach the radiator fan onto a 2002 BMW 525i. Worked perfectly, although the tool designed to stablize the fan clutch required a bit of finagling: no more than 5 minutes, and there's a trick (see below).- At the start, my radiator was fully assembled with the fan under the guard but detached from the bolt. I didn't undo any hoses to make room for the tools.- The wrench still fits in perfectly and has full range of motion, and you can get the fan pretty damn tight with that alone.- I found the best way to use the clutch stabilizer tool was to use it to clasp just one bolt on the fan clutch, and then sort of make a V shape at the stop: with the wrench tightening one way and the stabilizer piece pushing the other (so things don't turn)- got everything super tight, super quick, once that V thing was figured out. This would have been probably been more straight forward with a bit of disassembly, but it's not at all required if you do the V trick. So 5 star review- perfect part, does exactly what's needed, no disassembly required, cheap 2 day delivery and my car is back on the road.

Just As Advertised!
My husband said it worked perfectly on my 1997 BMW Z3 Roadster 2.8L. All I know is the item showed up one day and by mid-morning the following day, my car was completely road worthy again! So, yeah, I'm a happy customer! 😁

Exactly described. Used on a 06' BMW X5 3.0L
I bought this set to work on my wife's 2006 BMW X5 3.0l V6. It worked very well. Fit right onto the clutch fan bolt, and securely. I was able to remove the fan, complete my work, and then tighten the fan bolt with ease using both tools. An absolute must have tool set that I found from a YouTube channel reference. Great tools, very sturdy, and lightweight. Use a set of mechanics gloves when working with these, the factory edges were "almost sharp" and I did cut my left palm when re-securing the fan.

Wont allow for fan clutch bolt to spin. ENGINEERING FAILURE
TOTAL FAILURE, The piece that holds the fan in place whilst you use the large 32mm "wrench" to loosen the clutch fan bolt doesn't actually loosen the clutch fan bolt because the part that imobalizes the clutch fan actually touches the bolt that's meant to turn as well. Thus you cannot actually turn the clutch fan bolt while the fan is being imobalized. TOTAL FAILURE OF A "tool" DOESN'T WORK AT ALL

Doesn't work on E46 Waterpump.
If you are getting this to remove the fan on the E46, the water pump holder tool is not keyed correctly for the E46's rectangular shape bolt layout. Better to purchase a specialty holder. Also careful to replace the pulley with a metal one as you will most likely snap the plastic pulley coming off and possibly going back on (if you use plastic).

Exactly what I needed for the job.
Great tool. “Unfortunately” you use it rarely since these repairs are done often, but these helped me finish the job quickly at home. I always try to find alternative “easy” solutions when I don’t have the right tools…but this was very much value for money and saved me the trouble of trying to find a short cut.
