Oh yeah, it's a great shave!
Bought this June 2017, love it! Have had no problems with either the shaver nor the cleaning unit. I have had a few other electric razors, but this one gives the best overall shave. Comfortable, quick and thorough. Yeah, it's kinda expensive when compared with similar shavers, but it's well worth the money for comfort and function. Try it, you'll like it!

Brand new DUD
I just purchased this razor this morning. (Sorry, not from Amazon.) After a lengthy initial charge, I tried to turn the razor on but only result in getting "error" indicators. According to the website:"If the shaving head symbol is shown in combination with an exclamation mark ("!") and a faucet symbol, it means that the shaving heads are blocked. When this happens, you have to clean the shaving heads or replace them."This razor is brand new and I am not sure why the shaving heads are blocked or would need replacement. Of course, I try to contact Philips via their "24/7" online chat only to get a message that there is "No agent online". To top it off, I cannot even get into the review system to warn others. BIG FAIL for Philips.ADDITIONAL NOTE: I wanted to write this review to warn people regarding Philips customer service. In order to get my review posted on Philips, I was told that I am not allowed to write comments on their customer service. Otherwise, they can choose not to post. When "24/7" is not what it claims to be, I believe I have earned the right to comment about it.

AWFUL SMART CLEAN BASE QuITS!!!
Bought it for my husband for Father's Day in May 2016, now in November 2016 the Smart Clean Base stopped working and will not clean. Husband swears the shaver worked great and really was hoping to get a replacement for the base. No such luck!

The best electric razor i have tried
I have been using electric razors for many years and have tried Braun, Remington, Norelco but this one is by far the best! Gives a closer shave then I have ever gotten with any of the others! It does not require multiple "passes" over the same area to gets all the whiskers cut! I would definitely recommend this shaver!

Do Not buy without glue!
The shaver worked really well for my husband. The problem is a BIG one- If the unit tilts over or as in my case, fell off the dresser, (three foot drop onto carpet), it will NEVER work again!! The solution gets into the works and you are done for AND they will not cover it. So I paid 200.00 for a shaver period. They did offer to give me 10% off a new unit. If you buy it, GLUE IT to your counter or dresser. The unit has a sticker with a picture not to tilt it, so they know and just don't care. Will not recommend this product. I am very disappointed in Norelco. :(
