HP Laserjet Pro 400 M451nw Color Printer (CE956A) (Discontinued by Manufacturer) (Renewed)

I’ve been using this renewed printer about a month. It came packed very well and looked like new. I needed to buy four 305 cartridges but it accepts the remanufactured ones which cost less than the two brand name ink jet cartridges on my ink jet printer. There will be some payback from these cartridges lasting many times longer or not drying out. Wi-Fi setup wasn’t hard and all my laptops and tablets can easily print to it. It uses 5 watts when standing by on Wi-Fi or about 45 cents of power per month. Print quality is very good. I bought some glossy brochure laser paper for printing photos and I’m pleased with how they look. The are not as perfect as the ink jet can do but are a fraction of the time and cost. I’m enjoying printing more things in color and not having to worry about ink replacement. Very happy with the outcome.

I have had the previous HP Laser Jet Pro 400 color M451dn for several years and it is a workhorse. This current purchase of the HP 400 M451nw color printer has already proved itself to this office. We go through paper like crazy and it keeps on trucking. The cleaning mechanism is excellent. The new one added wireless so with the two of them handling three, sometimes four operators we have no worries about getting our jobs out.

It is a heavy but durable printer. Easy to setup with wireless. after 3 months usage, no problem at all even it has been used for over 28k printout when I receive it and I have seen this printer used over 100k printing. For this kind of price, I think it is a good deal. Also there are a lot of aftermarket cheap parts available on the market.

I have reached out to the seller, the printer does not work correctly at ALL. Hopefully they can send a "fixed" "refurbished" one to replace it!

This is an excellent printer and I am very pleased with the customer service of Reliable Printers. The product does take some time for configuration if you want it to print wirelessly. Very pleased with the print quality. I got a refurbished model and was not sure if the product will look good in my home office. But this has been an excellent purchase for me. Printer is not noisy. The only compromise I have made is that this cannot print duplex automatically.

Have to pay to return. Shipping charges to be paid by returning party and were around $200. Not worth returning.
