I rarely take the time to review products, but I just HAD to say a few words about this one. To sum it up in one word? WOW. To sum it up in two words: ORDER NOW.Was I paid or discount-compensated or solicited to try and review this product? NOPE. Not at all - by anyone. I simply found it when I searched Amazon for products containing the miracle juice known as Hyudroquinone, and decided to give it a whirl.I have persistent adult acne COMBINED with very red, sensitive, irritable skin. As you can imagine, what combats one inflames the other, and thus - my quandary. I have cystic acne, blackheads, whiteheads, clogged pores, large pores, acne scarring, red marks, and irritation. After just two days of using this product (AM /PM), I have seen a 50% improvement in all the aforementioned afflictions.I have tried EVERYTHING. I've spent thousands of dollars on prestige brands, professional treatments, and prescriptions, and this is as close to aone-stop shop product I have ever found. I can't believe how much it helped my red marks AND my acne AND did it all with ZERO skin irritation. Even those pesky little acne bumps that aren't quite whiteheads and aren't quite blackheads and feel like Braille writing on my face are GONE AFTER TWO DAYS.How I use it: PLEASE NOTE - I do NOT use this product as directed. It is intended as a spot treatment, but my "spots" are everywhere, so I figured, "What the hell. Slather it on all over your face. You've got nothing to lose; you already look like hell", so that's exactly what I did - I used it as a full face moisturizer with nothing underneath and nothing on top, and VERY CAREFULLY avoided my eye area. I used this stuff all over my forehead, on my nose, on my jawline, around my lips - pretty much everywhere EXCEPT the apples of my cheeks and around / under my eyes. It has worked like a charm. My skin doesn't feel dry and it doesn't feel oily. It feels perfect. All you'll need to use on the apples of your cheeks and your eye area is a simple, gentle moisturizer (Like First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Facial Moisturizer), and let this handle the rest of your face.I love this product so much I could cry. I had really come to the end of the road with my acne; I was getting desperate. None of the products I was using were even beginning to combat my last round of breakouts; I had met my match. Now, with this product, my skin problems have met THEIR match. If I could give this product ten stars, I would.

I have tried a number of products to help with dark patches around my upper lip, jawline, cheeks, and forehead (melasma that I didn't know I had until a photo facial brought it to the surface). It was all pretty bad, my normal foundation makeup would not even come close to covering. I'm 42, combo skin, no acne. I also use Aqua Glycolic and retin-a daily for 2 years now.This product really helped! I noticed a subtle difference after about a week of use (2x per day). I've been using it now for a couple of months and I have to say, my leopard spots have faded dramatically. I can see the shadows of the spots, but just barely, and makeup completely covers now. I've gone through 1/2 of the tube. I would give this 5 stars but there were 2 downsides for me, it is slightly irritating to my skin, I get these little 'pin head' pimples, about 2 or 3 a week. Not a big deal, but not normal for me. It also does not play well with my make up and pills up. Those factors are minor given the improvement I've seen though! I'll probably stop using this daily now since I'm happy with the results and seem to have 'plateaued'.

This stupid cream really works for melasma. I have dark patch on my upper, it look like a mustache. I tried this out. And OMG, it irritates my face so bad. It became so red and some small patches of blisters appeared where i spot treat plus my upper lip. So I went to work looking hideously for weeks. People asked me what happened to my face. I gave my face a rest for a week. I only continue my face routine without this cream. As I wash off the daily moisturizer at the end if the day, face dried up where I spot treat. Flaky skin peel off where i applied this product. But i notice a lighter tone after it peel off the skin. I am currently on and off this product because it stills cause redness, but the end result works.

Let me say, I do really like this stuff! I've only been using it a short while but have already noticed a slight difference. But I'm upset with the packaging. A little goes a long way so this tube should last a really long time, but mine squirts a bunch out every time open it. It's a huge waste of a good product. I'm hoping mine was a fluke so others don't have to deal with this!

I've been using for about a month (since I can't find Obagi on here) and so far so good! I live in FL and have had horrible melasma on the apples of my cheeks. The glycolic acid does sting a bit, but with faithful application twice daily as well as clear zinc oxide use (I use zinka clear stick), I've been able to keep these dark spots at bay. I'm happy enough with this product to keep buying it. And will add it to my routine. I only gave it 4 stars because it's a bit drying & I don't like it as well as the similar Obagi product. Still, for less than $30, it's worth it!

Ordered this a few months ago. I've got fair skin with an olive tone and had started getting really bad darkening on my upper lip (it looked like mustache!) forehead and a spot on the top of each cheek bone. Being in the sun would make them so much worse! It was really embarrassing. I'd been using some other OTC things and got ok results but I still needed makeup to cover the spots. I was also slathering on sunblock and wearing a sun hat whenever I was in the sun. Found this online and started using it twice perry with my sunblock. Took about two weeks and i did notice it had a mild tingle and peel effect. At first I was only putting it on my dark spots once they wer faded I started putting it on my whole face- probably after four or five weeks. Now my face looks great! It's not 100% gone but I'd say 85%. It clear enough that I do t wear makeup anymore and no one has asked me what's on my face!!
