Solving my need well.
I was nervous purchasing this given the reviews, but it seemed better than APC anyways, so I went ahead. Also, they have a service center close to my home (Delhi-Gurgaon border). The price was a little bit cheaper on the manufacturer's own website, but I ordered from Amazon thinking about a possibility of return. I later noticed that returns were not allowed for this anyways. It is supporting my desktop carrying a 600W power supply with active power correction. With such power draw, it is not expected to last more than a couple minutes, which is just enough time to shut the computer down. However, for me, electricity does not go down for more than a couple seconds anyways due to community power backup.Product has been working fine for the last six months without any issues, but I am not aware how much battery degradation it has seen since then (due to power backup).

Good for situations with frequent short duration power loss
Writing this review after 6 months of usage. I have been using it as a power backup for my 43 inch 4K TV with a 5.1 Hometheatre system and a Tatasky HD box. With all of that running it can easily give 10+ mins of power backup. Perfectly ideal for my situation where there are frequent short duration power cuts and power is back in few minutes. Even though it claims to have built in stabilizer, to be safe, I also use a spike guard on top of it to prevent surge from damaging my electronics. And best part is that I get uninterrupted entertainment. Till today I have seen Zero issues so 5 stars. Cant expect more at this price

A good UPS but gives incorrect warning times (sometimes)
I bought this UPS 4 months ago. I bought this partly on the other reviews and partly that this is an Indian product. After using it for so much time, it's pros and cons are now clear.I use my PC for about 7 hours everyday. I have connected this UPS to the PC directly without using any other device. Build quality is very good and almost looks same as in the picture above. My PC is a low-end PC running Windows 7 SP1. It has 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, GeForce210 1GB graphic card, i3 2120 3.3GHz processor. Samsung SyncMaster 920NW monitor and Promax speakers and a D-Link modem, all connected to the UPS.I once charged it full and it gave a backup of 22 minutes. No heavy task was running. It seemed O.K. as it has claimed. It beeps sound every 8s (actually around 7.5s) when backup is on. Beeps almost every second when about to shutdown i.e time left < 2 minutes. These were the features which are common to all UPSs.Cons:I once drained the ups and was recharging while using computer. After 1 hour, there was an electricity cut and ups was doing its job and started to beep every 8 secs. Then after 4 minutes, it started the warning beep every second. Hardly 10 secs and ups shut down completely. It was supposed to work for 2 minutes as stated above. So if your UPS is less charged, it gives you wrong shutdown time.I am considering of buying a new ups from these two below.Intex 1000VA GAMA UPSAPC UPS Model: BR1000G-IN 1 KVA Built in BatteryAPC is a good brand but I think I should go for the Intex GAMA though.

Dont Purchase Thia UPS
My Worst Purchse Ever. It Just Can't give more than 200 to 250 Watt and brand claims about 480 Watt. I would have given Zero Stars to this one.The Brand Sucks. Technician also visited for the problem, still it is unsolved.honestly i am saying Go for Brand Like APS and some good brands.

Nice product - Great after sales service
I have purchased this product to provide back up for my BSNL Wi-Fi modem. When i purchased, for first week it was giving 2 hours backup. Then it started getting deteriorating. In just 2 months time the back up time reduced to just 7 minutes. I thought of calling the customer care number which was given in the user manual.I got the service service engineers number of Bangalore. I called that person. He answered my call and came to my home, checked and replaced the battery.I would like to appreciate the after sales service provided.
