Advertised as bug and fly zapper. Bought two, followed instructions and waited for the slaughter to begin. Both have been working now for 12 days and neither one has zapped a fly even though we are currently in the middle of a plague of them. A total waste of money and mis sold as a fly zapper. The only thing they have zapped is my wallet to the tune of twenty quid.

We gave it the best part of a month and it managed to attract precisely one of the small plague of moths we were suffering from. The moth must have blundered in and was trapped alive, so it promptly escaped once I opened up the trap. Must be a low voltage trap maybe insect protection league approved - unlike the tennis racquet zapper we bought that sets the moths smouldering. Otherwise, every insect in the house wondered past and the moths stuck to circling the ceiling lights.Avoid.10/10 for Amazon’s refund service, 0/10 for this.

Sorry but these don't work for our outbreak of midges, seemingly originating in our ktichen. They just entirely ignore the fly zappers and prefer to hang around the window, or try to fly into our faces.Left the zappers plugged in overnight with the lights off. Nope. Nothing.Unsure how to identify these flies. They're the ones that bumble around in the air. If you're quick you can clap your hands and kill them.

I spent £60 on six of these and have had them placed around the house, mainly in the kitchen for a week now. Not one fly zapped and the flys are enjoying themselves whilst annoying me just the same as before!

I bought these for use in the bedroom, although I tried one in the lounge and then moved it to the kitchen. Both units managed some kills and seem quite lethal for small insects. However, they do not seem to work with the larger flies. Arrived very quickly, well packed and are easy to use. The translated instructions are more amusing than useful! I do not know how long they will last but I am happy with them.

Bought this as we have huge problems with flying insects in the summer. Have now had this in use for over a month and it has not killed anything. Our conservatory was covered in flying insects but this did not attract any of them. Not happy with the results and would not recommend to others. Have tried in multiple areas in the house to potentially attract bugs but do not seem bothered.

These did not work. I bought for my mum as during the summer months she had a fly problem. I stayed the weekend and had them plugged in the entire time and not one thing happened. Complete waste of time.

Have lots of flies - big and small in the kitchen as the weather heats up and we have more windows open. These 2 are left on at night - nothing caught and within a week, one has stopped working.
