Better steel deserved for this design
With exposed steel around the comfort zone can be reduced, but I used mine for chopping and did not come away with a negative, it it were 7cr17mov steel it would be a 5 star all the way around, I like the style and looks came with an excellent sheath plus sharpening stone, I like the style and looks, just needed better steel for the price

the metal sticks out all the way around the handle and is uncomfortable
It would be a great knife if the bone handle was flush with the metal outher then that it would be a great knife it is very sharp. I hope they will fix it.

Needs steel upgrade
Love the design, definitely needs a steel upgrade, they did this knife wrong using cheap steel!

Nicd knife, Wierd tang
Looks good in the picture, with a full tang it's quite solid. Too bad the steel tang extends beyond the handle a sixteenth inch or so all around the handle profile, leading to blisters or glove wear with heavy use. It could be ground flush, but might lead to a ragged or slightly melted edge if you're not careful and a puny feeling handle. The sheath is ok, if a bit clunky; the blade has a nice large hollow grind to it. Three stars.

Still quality workmanship, nice knife
Quality knife and materials, only draw back is the handle has sharp edges on the metal that make it a little uncomfortable to use with much force.
