So EASY!
Quick Review:Pros:1. Very good clear sound.2. Is very simple to use. NFC is super cool, and fun to show off to people.3. The physical design of the speaker is better then I expected. It is comfortable to hold/carry. And the small "kickstand" is great!4. Didn't test battery life but it seemed good.Cons:1. Ipads don't use NFC. (Nothing against the speaker just would have made it easier).(Note: you don't have to use NFC, as long as you have a Bluetooth device you are good to go)Longer Review:My Aunt who really loves good sounds asked me to get her a portable Bluetooth speaker. Her not being a tech person (and not wanting to troubleshoot it myself every 10 minutes) I wanted to make sure it was easy to use.So my qualifications were:1. Good clear sound (with at least some bass).2. Easy to use.2a. NFC capabilities.3. At least decent battery life. This speaker really seemed to fit those qualifications, it wasn't outrageously expensive, and I really like Sony as a brand. I tired it out before I gave it to her. It plays music very well, is crisp and clear. It compares very well with my HD Bluetooth headphones. But I think this speaker has a bit more clarity in the background. Also, I didn't max it out. But it does have some good loud sound. Also, the NFC capabilities are way to cool! And super easy! (Big fan of NFC payments, pairing, bump/beam, etc.) I paired it very easily (using NFC)with my LG Optimus G and my Asus Nexus 7 (2013). So I turned it over to my aunt and she likes it very much. It pairs right up with her Samsung Note 2 using NFC. She was very happy with how easy it was. She did come back later and asked how to use the speaker with her ipad 3 :( with the ipad not having NFC (Bad Apple! Go home! *shakes finger) I had to show her how to pair the speaker using traditional Bluetooth methods. But showing a 60-70 year old how to do that isn't the easiest thing to do. NFC just spoiled me. She also wanted to get a bit more bass out of the speaker (she has subwoofers all over the place so is used to having bass over-emphasized) This was easily remedied for free with her Note 2 as I simply downloaded a free app with a slider over-emphasizing bass for her. The ipad was not so simple (at least not for free). Once again, the bass is not a negative on the speaker. It pushes out good bass, however she likes to have bass cranked up more then the music would naturally have. All in all, this is a great speaker! Has great sound! And I would recommend it to anyone.

Great Bluetooth Speaker!
This speaker is one of the best sounding speakers I have heard in this size/form factor, and I listened to a lot of bluetooth speakers. It definitely outperforms the Jambox, JVC, and all but the largest Beats speakers. It is modestly compact and comes with a neoprene carry case if you choose to take it with you. I use it in all types of areas and it always fills the room. The sound is very broad, spacious, and full and it gets LOUD!Another bonus is the LONG battery life. I have used it for more than 8 hours without recharging and it sounded the same from start to finish, so this is a great portable speaker if you have need of a battery. The case is only big enough for the speaker, the wall adapter will not fit. This hasn't been a problem though, because the batter life will last nearly all day.During the holidays this speaker dropped from $200 to $100, but even at $130 it is a great speaker and I highly recommend it.Pros:Amazing sound for a small speakerHuge volume range8 hour batteryModestly small form factorNFC tap to connect bluetoothAuxiliary audio input for non-bluetooth device(s)Neoprene carry caseHigh quality materialsEasy to useSpeaker phone button to answer calls if they interrupt your musicSelectable Auto-on with bluetooth connect to automatically turn the speaker on/off as your phone/device comes in range of the speaker3 preset sound modes (equalizer) to choose from110-220v wall adapter included (good for international travel)Kickstand covers power button to prevent accidental turn-on when transporting the speakerCons:Slightly heavy (due to the battery)No pouch for the charger in the caseKickstand is stable and strong, but an odd designOverall, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a mid-size battery powered bluetooth speaker. I am convinced you will love it!

Great little unit with fantastic sound quality for something this ...
Picked this unit up for use outdoors at the park, beach, backyard, country home. Great little unit with fantastic sound quality for something this small. Clean sound, no distortion at any sound level. Yes, it lacks some punch at lower end and maybe some highs on top, but that's to be expected with 3" drivers. Overall, it sounds great with any genre of music and I am very satisfied with the purchase.
