Phone was easy to set up and adjust to the right volume level with a clear reception.

Have I done something wrong?
Have just picked up phone in eager anticipation after overnight charge but all I can hear is a voice that is almost inaudible. Put old phone back in to check line - no problems. Pressed audio assist - nothing happened. Removed batteries as a last resort - no change.No luck today. Alexa has given up the ghost! Am contacting vendors for assistance and will edit my review accordingly. Trouble shooting is useless.UpdateSince writing this review, I have waited 20 minutes for another reset (missed this in instructions - returned batteries immediately before) but this solved nothing. Have rung helpline recorded answer was in German, so have been graciously given a refund by Amazon. Over 37% gave 5 stars, so the device must be defective. The service has been impeccable, so 3 stars
