Ohmmu T1240X, 12V Lithium Battery for Tesla Model X

This battery did not fit the battery box of my 12/2016 Model X, it was about 3/16" too wide and 1/8" too deep. The case that arrived was not the standard case as you see on the current pic, it was a smooth sided case which looked as though it was sanded down on a belt sander.I contacted the company via their website, who responded quickly and suggested I put "soap" on the battery case, and blamed Tesla for their battery box size. Yes, Tesla should use a standard 12v battery configuration so we don't have to buy one from them every year or two, but the issue for aftermarket producers is to make a product that fits. Regardless, no amount of soap would have made this oversized case fit. The case would have had to be sanded down or banged in with a mallet. Of course I was not willing to do either operation because I would have probably nullified the ability to return the battery.A second issue: I did connect the battery to the car's terminals, but the car would not power on. I checked the battery voltage and got 100mV. So in addition to not fitting, it was sent to me DOA. If I had shorted it somehow, I'd expect voltage to be Zero, from a blown internal fuse perhaps (if not a resettable one) - not 0.1VAfter contacting them they did offer to come to my house and install it, as I live the next town over. That was nice but I need this car for commuting and the battery was so oversized they would not have gotten it to fit either. So I only saw a further waste of time dealing with this thing and I returned it.

It worked in my model 3 for about 5 months. The minute the temperature dropped below freezing I recieved multiple battery failure messages. I contacted customer support and they said it wasn't compatible with model 3 but it probably just needed to be put on a trickle charger and reset the car. Long story short it still has the same problem and customer support won't do anything about it! Clearly the battery is failing. Don't waste your money. Tesla service replacment battery is actually pretty affordable, I should have gone that route originally but was misled by other reviews on Amazon. Proceed at your own risk!

Replace my 12v with this battery to fix low voltage battery warning. The warning went away for one drive and came back on. Contacted OHMMU customer service and they advised it was because of a battery upgrade was needed and would be available in the next few months.Next few months? What good is this battery that I paid $400 for sitting in my garage. They will not take it back even though defective is covered under warranty. Oh ya, check the return policy where you pay shipping and restocking fee. That is if they ever answer your emails.I have filed a complaint with BBB.

i read the review left by another user saying it did not fit chatted with company before purchase they confirmed it did when i received item it clearly said for model 3 it did not drop in like description says but if you use some oil it will fit (snugly) making it usable, although i doubt it will come out of the bracket later. thus requiring you to buy a replacement bracket the next time you need to replace the battery.

Battery fit perfect in my 2019 model X dual motor. The only “issue” I had was the terminals were on the opposite side from the original battery. Meaning, the original terminals were closer to the front and this replacement battery had them on the back. The positive and negative were on the correct sides. So, I had to adjust how the wires were run a little. No major issues. The best thing to do is watch their YouTube video for how to install.

Make sure to follow the instructions that come with the battery exactly in order to reset the car's computer and clear the warning message.

Fits great. Works like it’s supposed to. Only complaint is the posts are not reversed as the installation is designed for

It had problem right after I replaced, contacted the seller and they taught us to reset the battery; However, we already reset 3 times in a year
