Perfect as a hot beverage for winter
Lovely alternative to coffee or tea, but it is not 100% calorie free.

Served the purpose, nice flavor
I don't drink any form of coffee often, just looking for something that was even milder than the instant decaf I sometimes drink. This has a mild smooth flavor and I consider it some what healthy because it has chicory ( a probiotic). Usually I add a bit of instant decaf coffee to give it a more intense traditional flavor.

Not a substitute, but a good hearty drink
I didn’t want to replace coffee, just supplement it, for times when I wanted a hot drink without caffeine.I don’t like bitter; I did not find this to be very bitter. It’s smooth and not acidic. It claims to be 50 servings but for my taste it takes 2 heaping teaspoons for 6 ounces of liquid so I think it’ll go a bit faster than that. It’s comparable in price to a bag of decent coffee. I didn’t care for it made with just milk, that was too bland. But when I make it with hot water and a splash of milk - exactly how I’d make coffee - I liked it. It tastes very much of chicory, and I like to add cinnamon to it. It was good iced, but hot was the best.I would buy it again. In no way is it a substitute for coffee but it’s a good alternative.

Definitely my favorite coffee substitute hot drink
This is an awesome non-coffee coffee drink. 2 rounded tsp in 8 oz of boiling water and you get a cup of dark "coffee" with some attractive foam on top. I can actually drink it black. But many people find it's really good with half-and-half or creamer.Even decaf coffee has residual caffeine, about 2mg per cup and you might still feel it. So this works as totally no caffeine and suitable for those who can't have any.Of all the substitute coffees I've tried, this is by far the best. Tried so far: Postum, Roma, Pero, Bambu.

I like it better than coffee actually
I had to give up caffeine for health reasons, and I always found the bitterness/acidity of tea and coffee to be an undesirable aspect anyway; decided to try Inka when I read someone describe it online as 'liquid toast' (and I love toast, so) and I now regret all the time I wasted on drinking coffee and tea instead of this; mix a little cream in with it and it does indeed taste reminiscent of hot buttered toast, and the best part is I can drink it all day without any side effects/insomnia. I had never tried barley or chicory root products before trying this, but already loved eating oats, brown rice, quinoa, whole wheat foods so if you're someone (like me) who enjoys that type of slightly sweet earthy, starchy nutty taste you get from whole grains then you'll probably really love Inka even more than coffee or tea I bet.

Take your pick.
Inka, Pero, and Cafix are all about the same. There is a slight difference in taste between them. I go back and forth between them just to have a little variety.
