THIS MIC IS AWESOME
I am the head student sound and lighting technician at my high school, and I love this microphone!! Sure always provides quality products, and this is one of them! We use these little microphones with our Sure SLX wireless system for our musicals (taped to the singers face) and sometimes for speakers that come in (on their lapel with the provided clip and wind screen) , so they do take quite a beating. The sound quality is amazing paired with the SLX system and our Allen and Heath mixer. One more thing I should say about the build quality though.... The reason I had to buy this mic is because the other sure 93 broke about five days before my school's musical. That being said though, this system was here for about five years so far, and all of our other supplied microphones continue to work well. Just don't coil them up to much when storing and you should be good.I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Works great!
Worked great with a Shure SLXD1 body pack transmitter in a fairly large room with good pick up and good gain before feedback. The program was live in/person and video streamed with no problems. The speaker/user preferred a lapel mic over a head worn mic, and this met the need.

Good!
I bought this for my daughter's Easter service special. I used it with a Shure wireless pack I already had, and it worked great, and it sounded great. For such a low price, I am very satisfied with the sound.

Great Value!
I purchased the WL93 for dialog recording of video shoots. I have experience using much more expensive mikes like the TRAM TR50 and the Countryman E6.This mic does not directly compare to those other mics in terms of frequency response. The WL93 has a much steeper low frequency roll off in sensitivity. But... In my opinion, the WL93 is very good for dialog reproduction. It's much LESS susceptible to wind noise than the TR50 or the E6. It has very high sensitivity and low self noise. (Which means it performs well in quiet environments too.) It's a quiet sensitive speech mic.I like it. I might even say it's better optimized for speech recording outdoors than a TR50 or an E6. It's an OUTSTANDING value.

Great little mic
Our church was having issues with the stock microphone that came with our Shur PGX system, particularly "thumps" when the user would say words starting with "p" or "t". The stock mic had the intake pointing directly upward toward the user's mouth, so it was REALLY easy to have issues with that. We were almost convinced we were going to have to go to a full over the ear/cheek microphone setup, but thought we would give this a go first. Glad we did. This little guy has the intake pointing directly forward, away from the user's chest, and it makes all the difference in the world in "smoother" recordings. We stopped 99% of all undesirable noise by just switching mics. Highly recommended!

Late entry, tried to make sure it wasnt user error. But i was replacing an old 93 with a bad wire. It still sounds great until someone fiddles with the wire causing popping sounds. Hence I know there is nothing wrong with the lapel that would cause the issues in having with the new 93. The new 93 sounds muffled, and anytime the speakers voice is elevated the input crackles..

DURABLE
I’ve used it for a few months now and it has been really great! It works very well and the wire has good width, it isn’t too thin and it doesn’t bother the skin
