TL;DR:I've had this phone for about 4 months now. It's one of the best smartphones one can buy today, and very nearly the best value for the features. You can put it in a glass of water and it continues to work. It's a flagship for half the cost of most flagships. External storage. Clean, smooth OS and GUI. Dedicated camera button. Good rear camera. It's the best flagship I've owned.Verbose:The design is clean and elegant. I didn't care much for the Galaxy S3's plastic pebble appearance, nor the LG G2's flemsy plastic chassis. In contrast, this Z2 is sturdy and smart. That said, some would consider it bland, and the large glass face and back will collect a certain amount of smudges, but that is honestly overrated - I never notice it in practical use.The GUI and the OS is clean, easy-to-use, and free of most OEM pre-installed crap. It's the best stock OS I've used so far, although I have rooted and flashed my other device numerous times. Again, some might consider it a little too bland - but I don't care for water drop sounds or turning my phone into a pocket-sized Windows 98 animal theme.Water-sealed. I don't go around looking for ways to dunk it, but it's nice to have that off your mind.The rear camera is very good, the front one is okay, but there's significant noise-reduction post processing if it's too dark. HD video is good, I'd buy an inexpensive Micro SD (I bought 32GB) to supplement the internal storage. Also, the dedicated camera button is very useful.The loudspeaker is okay. I'd put it behind the Captivate and S3 in terms of volume and fidelity. But it's still satisfactory for the situations which you would use the phone alone (with no other sound system).Connectors: this is the only potential frustration I've encountered. The flap on the USB connector poses an inconvenience. Whenever you need to charge, you have to open it and make sure to re-seal it when closing it (first-world problems). The solution is simple. Buy a (generic) magnetic power cable and never deal with that flap again. If you buy this phone, go ahead and buy the magnetic cable with a USB connector on the other end. It makes the chore of charging a snap (literally...).Nothing about it really stands out, per se, but it is a polished, balanced, and powerful product. And you don't have to worry about it getting wet. I had the honeymoon phase several years ago with the Captivate, but eventually you just want a product that does its job and does it well.I've owned the Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S), the S3, and the LG G2. These help me form my opinion on this review.

Definitively I'm very happy with this purchase. I have had 2 galaxy phones previously and I was bored of cheap looking for a high performance smartphone, in addition I broke two times the glass lens cover of my old I9300 and surfed the Web Iooking for something better. I found this smartphone and I have to say that is awesome.This phone has a nice appearance whit metal and glass without affecting weight and giving a sense of a premium product, just as I wanted. Processor speed and multitasking capabilities are as expected whit 3gb of ram. Preinstaled software of Sony in most of cases provide a great user experience without any problems.Talking about screen I have to say that Amoled of Samsung provide a little bit more vibrant colours than Triluminious of Sony.About the camera I'm not surprised with Sony with is recognised by its Cybershot products. The results with high light conditions are amazing and with low light are good Enough.I'll try to explore this device deeply and update soon.UPDATE 09-15-2014Last weekend I tested my cell phone into a pool (about 30 minutes) and it worked fine. First, the camera works amazing under the water with a dedicated button, because the screen gets blocked when it touches a large amount of water. Sometimes results annoying or frustating when you instinctively try to control the phone when it's wet, in fact, I couldn't get to use any other application; and it's difficult to use even to make a video because you have to start touching the screen out of water, and get it into it after (I don't know its exists another way to do it).I didn't have take any special care after going out of water and the quality of images was great.About preinstalled apps, SONY has made a great job installing some helpful software but customized OS it's not a big deal. As a result, we haven't a device plenty of useless apps but, without exploding potential issues to get it a most pleasant user experience.

Well, for my package is not come with the bundle but the phone is what I want so yeah.The phone feel smooth on both glass front n back n the metal frame is make it feel sturdy.The Ui, it just feel very nice, clean, light, fast n smooth.The software, album, movie, walkman, the feature of it are nice like seriously nice. The other smartphone that I use in the past I never play the their stock music player , I always played the "playerpro" which is nice n give a better sound quality but the Walkman is ui is so simple n sexy n the quality of the mp3 it just came out superd n clear voice , clear beat , n clear bass, and also I didn't use any software from Sony for the audio yet like " clearaudio+ , noise canceling.. Etc" the audio is supers already.The camera is ui is not so much but it take a little bit of time for it, the quality of image is just super clear, planty of mode to chose for.And the screen resolution it just wow like wow wow. I saw the lg g3 2k screen ...n I saw my z2 I felt like my z2 give a better color production , it pop up like galaxy phone, or over the top to hurt ur eye, it just very very clear n the color is nice overall give a natural color alike.Battery life is awesome, I go through the whole day without breaking a sweat. So I go to work 4am start listen to music for abt 1hr, on break turn WiFi on n watch YouTube total about 50min r 1hr, turn WiFi off. Coming back home abt 1hr music again n palky with phone like open Facebook , text, download music , wallpaper, instgram , use camera , web browsing , and just unlock it n scrolling around for no reasons ....,..........the battery is abt 68%. Wow just wow.
