Neenah Paper Classic Laid Stationery, 24 lb Bond Weight, 8.5 x 11, Classic Natural White, 500/Ream

I bought this thinking it was just regular white paper. Turns out it's fancier kind of white paper!I actually like it a lot, it feels nice to touch and I find it easier to read black text on it. I recommend it over plain white paper especially for school work because it looks nicer to hand it and feels nicer to hold.. but yeah other than that it's paper.

Great natural color and texture, somewhat thin but not translucent. May want to consider a thicker paper for heavy double-sided printing. There are small horizontal variances in thickness in the paper, like a subtle pinstripe, but it's not noticeable from a distance or texturally significant.

This paper is fountain pen friendly and very similar in feel and performance to Original Crown Mill. I will definitely be buying this paper again. This paper has a fairly discreet watermark. In the attached picture the paper is held against a lamp to make it more visible.

I purchased Neenah Classic Laid Premium Paper, thinking that I would be getting an OCM-like laid texture. Actually, someone mentioned it in the Amazon review to that effect.Disappointed. You can see the "laid" pattern only when you uphold a sheet against light. That's about it.Nothing like (not even close) Original Crown Mills Laid Paper. I considered returning it but kept it because the price was reasonable and I could still write on it. I write with various fountain pens. It writes well and smoothly.

I purchased this paper for bookbinding purposes. The laid texture was only on one side, making it useless for that purpose.

This paper is great and when I print there are no smudges which helps make documents for clients look very professional!

I purchased this "laid paper" (as others have noted before, its qualifications as such are suspect) to make copies of historical documents. As I proceeded to copy, I noticed that about one out of every four copies contained a diagonal wrinkle. I thought that it was my printer/copier that was causing the problem ... until I discovered that the paper came right out of the package that way! This photo shows a brand-new sheet of the paper right out of the package! Unfortunately, I have used over 50 pages of it ... likely too much for a return. Obviously, this is a very low-quality product. I will not be purchasing it again.

The image in the photo is likely from a heavier card stock, 80lb or more. This paper is much smoother than the product image would convey.Also, the packaging it came in was a bit beat up.If you are familiar with the paper you will be receiving then go ahead and buy it, but if not, good to be cautious before doing so.
