I made the mistake of not paying more close attention to the reviews and photos. I recently bought an HP Stream 11.6 in laptop. My model is an 11-r015wm. Which is Not one of the models listed that the product fits..I was just too much in a hurry and couldn't find any other hard covers. Any ways unfortunately the bottom portion doesn't fit at all. Its meant for models with the ports on the opposite end. So it does not snap in at all. It would of been great to be able to use it tho. A main reason i wanted it was for protection and the legs underneath. At least the top part of the shell does fit my laptop. Which is the surface most likely to get scratched or damaged. As I always keep it on a desk or table. I am pleased with the protection the shell provides. The shell clips on very snug to the top so i know it wont come off. I also love the coloring of the purple shell case. It doesn't show well in photos. but it is darker than the Violet color of my laptop. It is a nice rich beautiful purple/plum color.Pros: Colors Durable Strong ProtectionCons: Does Not fit all HP Stream models. It covers the ports of incorrect models.

This case is absolutely NOT meant for HP Stream computers! It is meant for one of those Chrome brand computers. The upper case clips perfectly on the screen, but the bottom one has nothing to do with the bottom. I just wanted the top lid, so I will keep it. If you want an overall computer case for an computer other than the Chrome one, don't get this one.Aside from that, it looks sturdy and is clear enough to see my HP Stream's super bright purple. I'm satisfied about that.

The top fit fine however the bottom did not fit at all, no matter how I tried it's almost like the pieces did not match I have an hp stream 11.6 this is why I ordered this I'm only partially satisfied considering the whole thing did not fit my small chrome book

We've bought 2 of these for our new HP Stream 11.6 in laptops and they're wonderful. They fit as they should, no issues going on and it fits snug enough to allow it to stay on and there's no extra movement. It has plenty of holes in the bottom to allow the laptop to emit heat. It also comes with little pop out stands on the bottom that are supposed to allow lift for better air flow, however the Stream itself does not allow the screen to tilt backwards enough anyway in my opinion, so I could never use the little props because they would cause even more issues with me trying to get the screen to tilt further back. I got the clear one to allow the blue of the laptop to show and it looks great. The hp silver logo is clear and you can't even tell the case is on. It's not real thick, so don't expect it to protect from really high falls as it would probably break, but for everyday use, such as throwing it in a bag or small tumbles it does what it should. Looks much better and is so much easier than a laptop sleeve.

It's just ok. It said it was for my HP Stream, but the edges don't quite line up on the bottom section. I don't move my laptop around too often, so it'll work for me. The clear color does give it a cool frosted glass look, and will definitely help cut down on scratches. It seems thick enough to do its job.

I purchased the black version.- it comes as 2 pieces. The piece that covers the bottom part of the laptop is perforated and conforms to the curves of the laptop. The top piece is solid.- The speaker slots are exposed at the bottom.- All the ports on the side are exposed and the cover doesn't interfere with their use.The bottom and top pieces clamp easily to the laptop and there is no play. The top piece has 6 clamps in total, 2 on either side and two on top. The bottom piece has 2 clamps on the front (near) left and right side of the laptop. It also unclamps easily if you want to pull the 2 covers out.- The pieces are lightweight. The laptop doesn't feel heavy after application as the pieces don't seem to add too much weight to the laptop.It allows for easy closing and opening of the laptop.I have a HP 11 stream model # AU48Y3K

It may not be clear in the photos of this product, but it is translucent. It does not do much to change the color of the Stream-book. We ordered a light blue one for my daughter and she was very disappointed when she put it on and the laptop looked exactly the same as it did without the cover. The fit was fine but if you are looking to change the color of the laptop, you may be disappointed. Amazon was great about returning it though, so no trouble there.

I have an HP Stream 11.6 and the case is a perfect fit. I absolutely love the case. The color is true purple, semi clear as you can see in photo. I love that the bottom is open so the laptop doesn't over heat. The feet are very study and strong and fit smoothly down when not in use. It has rubber feet on the front end which is nice as well. Definitely worth the money. Highly recommend. Also choose one day shipping. I ordered it Fri evening and it arrived 11:35am. Only con if you're into this kind of thing which I'm not I just happen to see it. It says made in USA online, this is false! It was designed in USA. Made in CHINA. So to the company if you want to support USA, Design and make here. Or don't false advertise. Shows your shame.
