We like our Braun blender which we have had for decades. The gasket got caught in the blender while running and was destroyed. We don't know it this was our fault or not. We were pleased to see we could buy a spare part for little money which would allow us to continue using our old blender. The part fit fine and everything seems fine. We do not use the blender a lot.

These work on the older Braun 4184, at least mine, a 25 year old European model. The gasket is the correct narrower one, compared to other gaskets that supposed to fit, but are wider.Unfortunately these come with the screw-on ring, which I didn't need, but eh. It was this or buy a new blender.

I was disappointed that I couldn't just buy the gadget. That's what broke on my blender. On the other hand, this was the only place I could find the part I needed to save my blender. Without that simple gadket, my blender woul have been usless

This replacement gasket fits perfectly. The blender doesn't leak. It's so much easier to replace one part than to get a new blender and go through a learning curve with a new machine.

I was having problems with the seal in my old Braun blender and this was the only rubber seal that I could find that was the original size! Everyone else sold an entirely new blade that was slightly different. Well this seal fit like new and I don't have the leak problem I had before!
