KichlerHendrik 15" 2 Light Semi Flush with Light Umber Etched Glass Olde Bronze®

I had been looking for a certain style for a long time and this was exactly what I was looking for. I had questions and customer service was so good about getting back to me quickly. I give both the item 5 stars for quality and 5 stars to customer service too

but the fixture itself is exactly what I wanted for my bedrooms. I solved the shade color problem by purchasing replacement glass from Kichler's Hendrik brushed nickel model. The whiter shade looks better in my opinion, and allows for a brighter light. One of these lights arrived with the glass shattered; it would have been more convenient (and less expensive, given that I was replacing the shade anyway) if Kichler would simply have sent me a replacement globe; after all, nothing was wrong with the ceiling light itself. But their procedure requires shipping the entire fixture back. Amazon was prompt, efficient and more than helpful, working with me, putting me directly in touch with Kichler. Unfortunately Kichler's "send the fixture back" policy is set in stone, so I just replaced the glass at my own cost.

Harder to put together than you think! I like the fixture very much and it complements existing fixtures in the home very well. However, the installation instructions were lacking and it was also missing screws to attach from the base plate in the ceiling to the fixture. And instructions were in Spanish and French only.

This looks great in my front entry way. I've used some Benjamin Moore "classic" colors on the first floor, and the bronze finish and beige light shade go well with the look. It _just_ fits above my front door as it opens. It would be possible to trim the main threaded screw a bit if you needed it a fraction of an inch higher. The shade must be some kind of resin; the whole thing was much lighter than I expected. I'm going to get a second one for the main hallway. One star taken away because it is a bit pricey.

I wish someone had told me flush mount lights don't push light out like these! I had no idea! I installed it myself, which is unusual, as I am surrounded by electricity lovers and found this easy. But, I am surrounded by knowledge, so.... hi. I am impressed by the look and amount of light it produces in our dark room without sunlight. We had a serious problem, which this light fixed with good mission style looks. Super happy! I hope this helps.

This light is ridiculously overpriced for what is essentially cheap junk made overseas - not even close to the quality of Kichler lighting I have purchased in the past (at first I thought I had received a counterfeit product). The lamp shade, as other reviewers have noted, is nothing like the shade that is pictured, which is white (opal). What I received is a dull amber colored shade that casts a particularly dull and dingy light. One reviewer mentions buying a "replacement" shade. I would like to know where, because Kichler doesn't sell one, and I've scoured the internet and can't find one anywhere. If you are seriously thinking of buying this light fixture, I would suggest that you locate this "replacement" shade first, because you probably won't like the one they ship either. Well packed and complete? Nope. The first two I received had broken shades. I suspect that this product is so cheap to make overseas that it's more profitable to replace broken shades than it is to correct a minor packaging issue. I am also very disappointed in the other reviewers of this product. I read their glowing 4 and 5 star reviews before I purchased the lamp and now ...well, I can only assume they work for Kichler.

I bought two of them as they match a set of pendant lamps I had bought previously. As with the pendant lamps, they nod toward craftsman style without being obvious. They look fine when turned on (cream white) but not so much when turned off (dusty brown). Overall pretty happy with the product.

These Hendrik ceiling lamps match all my other fixtures that are hard wired and mounted. The way they bounce light off the ceiling as well as directly through the frosted lenses makes for a nice even warm light. The fixtures look great and are well constructed. I used 60w equivalent LED bulbs in soft white. Two of these fixtures light the kitchen and dining area very well. These installed easily.
