Works Great!
I wanted to add the capability to microwave my cup of coffee or other similar items to my RV without firing up my generator. My microwave draws 1250 watts input with a 900 watt output. My battery box is small so I needed an inverter that had a slim depth profile. This 1600 Watt inverter met my electrical and physical requirements. This inverter runs my 1250 Watt microwave with no problems whatsoever! I highly recommend!Update: My Microwave is a High Point EM925RYS. It came standard in my 2013 Fun Finder 189 FDS travel trailer. I did make a mistake in my previous posting, I said the microwave was rated at "1250 Watts input" and 900 Watts output. It is actually 1350 Watts input and 900 Watts output. My trailer batteries are two 6-volt 240 Amp HR golf cart batteries that are well maintained and in good condition. I suspect that some of you folks that are having problems may be due to a weak and/or undersized 12 volt RV/Marine type batteries that may not be in tip-top 100% good health? Battery capacity does indeed decline with age. Also, poor maintenance can cause a battery to under perform. When drawing large currents from a battery, size and good battery health does indeed matter! Improper installation may be another factor?Update 4 years later: I had this inverter in my old trailer and it worked great for years. Used it mostly for my wife’s hair dryer, small coffee pot (700W), and vacuum cleaner. Bought the same inverter for my new trailer. I didn’t install it for about 6 weeks after purchase. Had an issue and put in for a return with Amazon. They sent me a new inverter the next day! That’s only 24 Hours after I put in for my return! What company does that? What great customer service!!! Highly recommend!!!JDP

Great product
I bought this product on November 28th 2019 for use, as OTR truck driver. I have cooker for my meals and ring boiler for my tea and other uses. It has never failed me, not for once. I intentionally waited till now before writing a review, to see how durable the inverter is. I checked to buy it again and keep as spare, incase the current one eventually gives way, to avoid being stranded. Bearing in mind that nothing lasts forever. Excellent job.

Good inverer
I put this in my 18 foot pull behind RV. I have two 100 ah batteries connected in parallel linked to solar panels and the inverter tied directly into the beaker box from the already existing 30 amp 120v connection. I put in a switch to disconnect the inverter if plugging the RV into an AC system. Solar control panels has a 12 v 40 amp out. I put the inverter to this and everything worked fine except for heater and Roof mounted AC unit. So I connected the I cerer directly to lotion battery which can handle up to 100 amp pull. Everything works except Roof mounted aC unit. I can run a small window mounted AC unit off the inverter. The inverter is large. Takes up a lot is smack and I had to reorganize items to find a place which would allow for air flow. Remit is nice to have but I had to splice and extent the chord in order to run wiring properly. Overall good inverter.

Not worth buying
We bought this for our fire district to run a sawsall for cutting people out of cars that have wrecked . With two heavy cables run from the battery to this unit it won't even run the sawsall when you are not even trying to cut anything. It puts our less power than our old failed 1200 watt unit. It is worthless and we are beyond the return period since we didn't try to use it for a while. Complete waste of money.Update: GIANDEL is going to replace this unit with a new one at not cost to us. They responded right away and their customer service has been excellent! They are a good company to do business with.

Very Pleased! You Will Be Too.
Backed by a sufficient battery bank connected with the properly sized cables, this inverter runs a 900-watt microwave oven. Popcorn anyone? It would not run our 1100-watt microwave oven. It easily powers an apartment refrigerator, television, fans, and even a 5k BTU air conditioner but will not run a Nuwave induction cooktop. You will definitely need a pure sine wave inverter for some things. The inverter was connected to two new 200ah Renogy Gel deep cycle batteries (wired in parallel) via 4/0 cables. The item is very sturdy and appears to be well made. It was packed impeccably and arrived quickly. The LED readout information is accurate. The wired remote control is a plus. We are very happy with our purchase and have already recommended this to our friends. We are now fans of GIandel and look forward to seeing what one of their larger, pure sine wave inverters will do.I purchased inverter with my own money. This review is based on my personal opinion and experience.

Great piece of gear for the price
I put this in my truck in order to run several battery chargers for my cordless tools. It works wonderfully and I no longer have to bring my batteries in the house at the end of the day to charge. If my power in my house ever goes out I can simply run an extension cord from this and leave my truck running and it won’t work as a makeshift generator in a pinch. Well worth The money. This is a large unit though so make sure you look at the dimensions. The only tiny grape that I have is that the green LED on the power button is very difficult to see one mounted low in a vehicle so you may want to take a look at that before choosing a spot to mount it.
