Lightning in your hand!
When you apply 30,000 volts to these, they make lightning in your hand. Tom Hanks would have liked these in "Cast Away" to make fire. They probably make a fine bug zapper for bugs that are only 0.040 of an inch in size. Someone told me that some people put them in their engine and it makes it work. What will people think of next!?!These are the regular copper core plugs that Mopar really likes. No, they are not made out of unobtanium or clear metal, so you actually do have to change them fairly often (30,000 miles for my truck). But, because they don't have 24k gold conductor with a pink diamond tip, they are cheap. And, because the enginerds designed the engine to use these, the pistons will be angrier than normal because the explosion is bigger. Along the same route, your wallet will be happy and the gas station owner won't because you will get better gas mileage with proper plugs.Don't forget to let your aluminum heads cool down before you go reefing on your old plugs. Also, check the gap on each spark plug because if the shipping guy pretends the box is a soccer ball, well, the gap will change. Might as well buy some anti-seize to brush on the threads and some Vaseline or "dielectric gel" for the spark plug wire/coil boots.Buying these won't make you taller, smarter or thinner. They don't work good as antidepressants or combs either. But, they make your car feel like a million bucks. Okay, actually about $20 but you get the picture.

Good for 2012 Civic 1.8L
Was looking to replace the NGK's in my 2012 Civic. Lot's of online advise is to use the same as factory. I usually heed this advice, but the NGK's are over $20/plug. The Champion RER8ZWYCB4 (9407) Iridium Spark Plug from Amazon is supposed to be a direct replacement. They are the same mechanically, & went in with no problems. These are a reasonable $6.50 each, with a $2.50 rebate/plug. Vehicle started right up & is running better that the old plugs with 100K miles. The Chapmions are also iridium plugs, so should be as good as the NGK's...

Wrong Spark Plugs Sent in Package
I ordered 6 plugs for $50 to do near future maintenance and the Amazon site stated the spark plugs listed were specifically for my car make and model so I procrastinated . When i actually inspected the plugs when I went to put them in there were no cardboard hoops on these Champion plugs in the box, nor were the part numbers on the wall of the plug making me think they are counterfeit. Two of the six plugs were not iridium and were normal but had ultra skinny bodies and a wrong part number on the box. The only thing to identify these plugs was the number on the box. I placed the shoulders of my NGK and new champion plug against a flat and say the champion plug was a eighth to small where the spark happens. The plugs were NOT Compatible and I was unable to use them at all. I cannot return them as 40 days have passed. I suggest avoiding amazon for these type purchases and go to NAPA or autozone as one can return parts within 3 to 4 months. Plus price is close.

Replaced original NGK spark plugs on my 2012 Honda odyssey EX
Replaced original NGK spark plugs on my 2012 Honda odyssey EX. Bought these due to the price difference ($20 vs. $8 per plug). Every forum and YouTube video said to buy the NGK, but went ahead and took a chance. Everything fit just fine and started right up. Adjusted the gap on a few of them, but I really don’t’ think it was needed. Have only been running them for a day, but it appears to have fixed my misfire issue. Time will tell if I did the right thing to save $70. The only negative thing I would say about them was the way are shipped. Not a whole lot to keep them from bouncing around in the individual plug box and the box all 6 came in (not a real issue though).

2011 Honda Odyssey
Didn’t want to spend the money for NGK. These were a fourth the price. Driving the van for two days afterwards, everything is fine. I will update the review if anything changes. I’ve always used Champion plugs in my American autos, they will go 80k on a set of plugs no problem. I’m not expecting anything different from the Honda.Update:On the Odyssey, we were consistently getting 21.2 mpg. After replacing the plugs, I reset Trip Meter A. After a week of driving, the mpg is averaging 24.3. That is better than expected. The old plugs were pretty rough.

These worked great for my 2012 Civic EX
These worked great for my 2012 Civic EX. NOTE: Not a single one of mine were gapped correctly. Recommended gapping is .044", all of my plugs I received were around .035-.038. Make sure to check before installing.

They're spark plugs and they work. If they're anything like the OEM ones then they ought to last a while. Can't say though, I changed mine at 103k and sold the JK not long afterward.

Lesson learned here
Just because they fit doesn't mean they work. These costed me more then if I would have just gone to the dealership. My stock spark plugs were almost nubs when we took them out and they still worked better then these. They didn't come pre gapped for the vehicle, they created problems that weren't there before and in the end I ended up buying Mopar plugs anyway as these made the vehicle stall at stop lights. Seriously, our Jeep ran worse with these plugs then it did before we changed them. We put in Mopar plugs and the vehicle runs better then ever. This is my wife's vehicle and she noticed how horrible it drove with these plugs and how great it handled after the Mopar plugs. Trust me, not a knock against women but with her that is a huge deal.
