This is my second one of this model. The first one worked for over 10 years before the outdoor transmitter finally quit working. It was cheaper to purchase both parts than to replace the transmitter. The readings are very accurate and you’ll know your outdoor temp anytime you need to know. Also keeps great time and date. I hope the second unit lasts as long as the first one.

I had written a negative review at first because it seemed that the sensor did not work and outside temperature did not register. Amazingly enough, now, 3 hours later it displayed the correct temperature. When I inserted the batteries and set it up it showed a 76 degree outside temperature. It was 89. It stayed like that for over two hours and now it displays the correct outside temperature of 92 degrees. I almost returned it because I thought it was damaged. The box looked like it went thru WWII. I assume somebody else had returned it because it did not look like factory packaging. May be somebody else thought it was broken due to the long time to register the correct temperature. Should be noted in the instruction manual that it might take several hours to register correct temperature.

Easy to read. Seems to be more accurate than others I have had. Works well from every place I have tried.

Very pleased. I've had it for 6 months, it is still on the original batteries. Setup was easy, its reported temperature always pretty much matches what local reports say. Highly recommended

1. The screens are very dark. There is no back lighting so it is very difficult to read if it's more than a foot away.2. I bought 2 of these. One for me and one for my elderly dad. I've had them laying next to each other on my ottoman for an hour or more. The outdoor meter is right there with the display. As you can see there is a full 14 degree difference between the two. Definitely not accurate.I'm returning them to get different ones.

This is a nice easy to read thermometer and humidity display. I bought it as a replacement for another Acurite sensor and display that I had. The quality is excellent! The new display is larger but as I have aged a bigger display is better. Highly recommend.

It seemed to be a good unit at first, but after using it for about a week, decided to return it. Pros: it displays indoor and outdoor reading, shows the time and has large numbers. Cons: no backlighting, useless kickstand and no magnet to place on fridge. Had to either tilt the unit or place it at eye level to read it because the display brightness is poor.
