Dead simple to setup, perfect functionality!
The product works as advertised and was a breeze to setup, even if you don't have a WPS enabled router. I didn't have a WPS enabled router, so I basically hooked up the bridge to AC power (a USB power cable is also supplied if you want to directly power the bridge via USB on your computer/device), used another computer's Wi-Fi to connect directly to the bridge, accessed the setup page on a web browser, entered my router's SSID and password, then a few minutes later the bridge was up and running giving internet access to all my Ethernet-based devices! So far, the signal and speed on the bridge is excellent and I'm not getting any dropouts or lags. I can't say the same to a similar cheaper Chinese device called the Vonet VAP11G, which was a nightmare to setup and could not get a steady internet connection at all. If you're looking for a bridge that's dead simple to set up and get running, this one is your choice!About the only con I can think of are that the Ethernet cable they supplied with you is pathetically short, like less than 1ft. So you're almost going to have to buy or use your own Ethernet cables. Also, they supply you with a software installation CD, which is strange because you don't even need to use any software other than your web browser to set the bridge up.

Include wired devices on your wireless network. Lasted 20 months.
Update: Died after 20 months. It was nice while it worked. Reduced from 5 stars to 3. Original review follows:I bought this bridge because I wanted to add an upstairs desktop computer to my network without drilling holes for wires. It does that perfectly, and it was easy to set up, even without a WPS button (my router is old and does not have one). When you first boot the bridge, it acts as a DHCP server. I connected my computer to it, setting network configuration to automatic (DHCP). Then I used a web browser for setup -- to tell the bridge which network to join and the password for it. At the end of the process, the bridge reboots and the router takes over DHCP. Then I went back to my previous (manual) network configuration, and it just worked. It has been running several days since setup, and I haven't had to touch it at all. I even set up a media server on the upstairs desktop, and the downstairs PS3 has no problem connecting to it.I could have done this for about the same price using a wireless USB network adapter, but I would have had to find one which is supported on Linux. And with this bridge I have 4 extra ports for additional hardware, like a printer.

Great Product! Performed against all odds
This turned out to be a really nice little product. It works just as it should and was easy to set up (so long as you are capable of reading the directions). I needed internet in my bedroom and the wifi router in my parents room was spotty at best where I'm at. This bridge picks up that weak signal from 50 feet away (and though two exterior walls) and gives me fairly fast internet (as though I was plugged in directly to the original router). I would definitely recommend it to anyone, but just keep in mind: THIS IS NOT A WIFI REPEATER! It does not take in a wifi signal and spit out one of its own. This is a bridge, meaning it takes a wifi signal and turns it into a wired ethernet connection for multiple computers to use.

Absolutely terrible.
I currently use a DLink DAP-1522, and ordered two of the CV-7428NS units to replace the DLink AP/Bridge to extend hardwired connections to difficult to reach areas of my house that would not take a physical network drop well. These units are truly made for the lowest common denominator of user, and are definitely lackluster in features. BOTH units had the exact same problems and had to be returned, so I do not believe this to be an isolated issue - using both the stock firmware and the most recent on the website as of this post (1.20). I experienced the following problems:- Uptime no greater than six hours without needing to be rebooted on BOTH units.- The built in web server is atrocious. It can only be accessed for a few minutes after a reboot so if you need to manage the devices for any reason you have to reboot and pray you finish making adjustments in the <60 seconds they function. Additionally, you cannot directly access them through the IP address at all, only through a built-in URL forwarder that stops functioning all-together once you've joined the device to a wireless network, so don't even think about trying to modify the device settings, password, or update firmware after you've joined it to a wireless network without doing a factory reset.- If you do manage to change the admin password it renders the unit useless until the next factory reset as both the default password AND the password you just changed it two will not work once you've processed a password change. Was able to replicate repeatedly on both units by factory resetting then changing the "1234" password to "abcd" and not being able to access the admin console with either password after the reboot. These units are pure garbage. I ended up having to return them and just buying another DAP-1522 as they perform superbly for my needs. If I could give zero stars - I would.
